Escape to our modern 2BR+Loft cabin located in the beautiful foothills of Ashford just 5 miles to the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Perfect for families & groups, this woodland retreat features a hot tub, fire pit, and fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy soaring ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and access to Holiday Lake. The space Large open space perfect for families, groups, couples, and your fury friends! Other things to note Snow: Tire chains are required in your car from November-May if you plan on going to Mt. Rainier National Park. During the winter months, you may encounter snow or ice in the neighborhood so we suggest bringing an AWD vehicle. We try and keep our driveway plowed as often as we can, but there may be times when you'll need to drive in snow and ice (weather dependent). Power Outages: Occasionally, the power goes out in Ashford during a heavy rain or winter storm. We have a propane range and grill for cooking, and a gas fireplace for heat source. We also provide flashlights and lanterns for the evenings. Should the power go out for a short while during your stay we suggest taking advantage of the peacefulness by starting a fire in the fire pit, reading a book, playing a game, work on a puzzle, color or draw! Note: Firewood is not provided but is available at multiple locations in town, including the barber shop and the general store. Cell phone service & Wifi: Cell phone service is spotty.
