Lazy Bear Cabin near Dodge Ridge/Pinecrest Lake

A FAVORITE for families with children and teens. Our cabin retreat is very spacious, yet cozy. Recently remodeled, so everything is fresh and up to date. Located right off Hwy 108 in the Cold Springs cabin community, you couldn't ask for a better location, especially during Winter for a quick 15 minute trip to Dodge Ridge (10 minutes to Pinecrest Lake). You can unwind in the game room suite or by a cozy fire. The cabin has a great kitchen with many gadgets & spices for the chef in your party. The space Our cabin is located at the beginning of the Cold Springs cabin community (5,600 ft. elevation). It is just an easy turn off Highway 108. No steep driveways or dark roads. The cabin is 2,500 sq. ft with 3 stories. It is completely furnished and has large screens with satellite TV. The main floor entrance is a straight shot to the on-street parking (up to three cars) for easy unloading of food, luggage and gear. This main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and large dining table. Sliding doors open to the large deck with incredible forest and mountain views. There is a also a full bathroom and queen guest room. The upstairs has a shared bathroom for a large King guest room and a trundle (2 singles) guest room with its own TV for movies or morning cartoons. The game room suite has its own entrance which is accessed from the exterior covered stairway. It has a full bathroom, queen guest room, bar, game/dining table, Wii game console, deck and pool table. Young adults and teens (Adults too) will enjoy the separated space. It's a perfect place to watch TV, build puzzles, play pool, card games or battle it out with a round or two of Settlers of Catan. The entire family or families can enjoy each other's company, with enough space to have your own quiet retreat. A whole house standby was recently added. So power outages will not last more than a minute, before the generator will fire up. Other things to note There is WiFi available in most of the cabin. While speed is strong and stable, harsh weather conditions may impact service. No refunds or credits for slow speed or outages. Just embrace the Sierra Mountain Life. For phones, AT&T customers will benefit from the newly functional tower across the highway and should do great with their phone service and mobile hotspots. Those with Verizon and other carriers will have limited service due to the remote location.
