Water View Country Cottage

We welcome you to our Airbnb Come stay and relax in the tranquillity of the countryside. Unwind and relax while watching the animals and taking in the view from the deck. We offer a 2 bed room cottage with all the homely touches you will need. You can now come meet our beautiful highland cow Clover! The space The property is 140 acres which is mostly flood plain, currently used for grazing of cattle, sheep and horses as well as recreation. Most Saturday and Sunday mornings all year round we ski on our Dam so if you are staying on those days you will probably have the opportunity to see this in action. Guest access During your stay you are welcome to use the near by fire pit but we ask that you keep to the area around the home (not in the paddocks with animals). Access to the dam is by arrangement with the hosts only. We require life jackets to be worn at all times when in the dam (this has no age limits). Other things to note FIREPLACE - During the colder months we supply wood for guests to use. OUR PETS YOU MAY MEET – We are very excited to now have our beautiful highland cow CLOVER! Come meet and pat our beautiful girl! ASH - Our Kelpie/cattle dog cross called Ash is very friendly and may visit. She has mastered jumping the handrail so please don’t get a surprise. She is not encouraged to visit you and we will do our best to avoid this, apologies if she happens to sneak away and visit you. She loves people and will probably bring you one of her toys to play with…. There are other animals that you can meet by arrangement with the hosts (Highland cow, Miniature horses, horses, sheep and sometimes lambs). BABY SITTING SERVICE – Available by arrangement Alicia lives on the property and has a Diploma in Early Childhood with 8 years experience. She has a Blue card and full first aid certificate. Fee - $30/hr with a minimum 3hr booking negotiable. Please contact Alicia directly with any enquiries.
