First floor boasts a cosy lounge area complete with modern kitchenette, dining facilities and private furnished balcony with views over the surrounding fells. Beautifully-appointed modern bathroom with twin vanity units. On second floor well appointed bedroom with double bed and additional tv. No pets. Can sleep up to two children on a sofa bed in the living area. The flat is ideal for up to 2 adults and 2 children. This popular holiday village is a 15 minute drive from Ullswater, one of the Lake District's most beautiful lakes and second biggest after Windermere. Whitbarrow Village and Hotel is ideally situated off the A66, in the foothills of Blencathra Fell, with the nearest village being Greystoke. The historic towns of Penrith and Keswick are 8 miles and 10 miles away respectively. Within close proximity, you can go quad biking/horse riding at Rookin House Farm, go cycling/walking/running/go ape in Whinlatter Forrest, visit Troutbeck, Caldbeck, Penruddock, Glenridding and Mungrisdale. Guest access The private flat is located on 2nd floor of the main hotel building, close to the amazing leisure facilities included in the price of your stay: pool, jacuzzi/hot tub, kids pool, sauna, steam room & gym, games room and indoor mini cinema. The Fellstone restaurant & bar is just next to the Games Room and serves delicious food. No need to exit the building! You will have access to an entire self-catering duplex apartment/maisonette (55 m2) with lounge, balcony with stunning views, bathroom and upstairs separate bedroom. Please note: there are a few interior stairs and there is no oven in the kitchen, but we have a double air fryer. Other things to note There is no shop on site, but you can buy a few essentials from Reception (there is a selection of items). Basecamp Farm Shop is the nearest one, 5 min drive away on the A66 and has your basic supplies and serves a delicious breakfast & lunch. Penrith has a multitude of shops: Aldi, Home Bargains, M&S Food, Booths, Morrissons & Sainsburys. The onsite newly refurbished Fellstone restaurant is closed a couple of days per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays ) and does not offer breakfast, only lunch & dinner. The flat is self-catering, which means it will be professionally cleaned before you arrive and after you depart, but not during your stay. We provide a start-up pack in the bathroom with a few toilet rolls, cosmetic samples and hand soap. There is no washing machine inside the room, but there is a launderette on site with one washing machine and one dryer(£2.5/wash & £2.5/dry). There is no oven in the kitchinette, but there is a double air fryer, a microwave, hob (2 rings) and slow cooker.
