The Green House
The Green House
Description
The Green House is a romantic hideaway for two – a private cabin by the sea, overlooking the Isle of Skye. Rustic and charming with a wood burning stove, four poster King size bed, and a big bath in a chest. From here, you can hear waves lapping against the pebble beach and watch clouds formed by the Atlantic Ocean roll over blue-tinted hills. The space The Green House is primarily made up of one big bedroom, a small wetroom, and a little kitchen. In the bedroom there is a king size sofa, a bath contained within a chest at the end of the bed, and a small but efficient wood burning stove. The bedroom opens up onto a wooden deck that overlooks the sea. The wetroom has a shower, loo and sink and in the kitchen there is a small wooden dining table and bench. Guest access The Green House is located within in a large garden, but the immediate area surrounding and leading up to the cabin is secluded and private. Other things to note This accommodation would suit those who feel comfortable in rural settings. Glenelg is very remote. The only road link is a single-track road that climbs to a height of 339 metres over Mam Ratagan via a series of hairpin bends with gradients of up to 20% before dropping down to sea level as it reaches Glenelg (10 miles from the main road). Please note: to reach the Green House from the car park area you have to walk down a gravel path and descend uneven steps.
