Romantic, calm, quiet and cosy, it’s easy to step back into a bygone era. The perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring all that Rye has to offer. Tilling has an en-suite bathroom with a bath with an overhead shower. Also, two sitting rooms are available for guests to use and a south-facing courtyard garden. The space The House with Two Front Doors is a 15th century house, in the world famous Mermaid Street, Rye . Its stunning low beams are from ships of that time… the squeaky doors and creaky floors fill every room full of the character you would expect to find in a house centuries old. Keeping only two of the bedrooms available to stay in, means the house is intimate and quiet. You will feel as though have this beautiful house to yourself. You can truly relax with Rye and all it’s wonderful literally on the door step. There’s treasure a plenty to be found. Guest access Both the rooms available include access to two period living rooms downstairs, featuring an open fireplace and a television. The rear lounge opens out onto an enclosed south facing courtyard. Booking includes a complimentary breakfast served in the farmhouse kitchen, always something different, always something delicious. You will feel as though have this beautiful house to yourself. You can truly relax with Rye and all it’s wonderful literally on the door step. There’s treasure a plenty to be found. During your stay I live in on the top floor, so I’m discreetly around and will be available for all your inspiration and information needs Other things to note If you would like to enjoy a bottle of wine in your room or one of our lounges, we are happy to provide glasses and an ice bucket.
