Looking for a place to unwind, you'll enjoy our quiet, quaint cottage that is walking distance to Lake Erie. Take our beach wagon and enjoy the sunrise, swim or have a picnic at the private beach. Our 800 sq ft cottage is perfect for a small family or a couples get away. Our cottage is located in Woodland Beach. We are very close to Sterling State Park. 15 miles from Toledo and 25 miles to Detroit. Enjoy an evening outdoors, bring your firewood and use the firepit or bring dinner for grillin. Conveniently located between Toledo and Detroit. Five minutes to I-75 expressway. Our house is less than 300 yards to the beach and Lake Erie, within the Woodland Beach Association. There is a park right near the waterfront by the beach with plenty of room for the kids to play. We do not allow pets. We do not allow parties or events. We do not allow smoking or vaping of any kind indoors. You can smoke outdoors; we just ask that you dispose of your butts properly. We do have a camera pointing at the driveway. This is the only camera on the premises. Must be 21 to reserve our cottage. **Seasonal note....for guests that are not familiar with mayflies, we get them here as we are near the water. They are seasonal with the most being around the month of June. This is beyond our control. Room for three vehicles in the driveway. Plenty of room for truck and trailer or boat. A unique passcode will be given the morning of your arrival. The door code is for the back door. Reach out via the app for anything. We are very responsive. We live about 10 minutes away and can normally be there very quickly if an emergency situation comes up. If you need recommends for anything in the area such as restaurants, things to do, stores, etc. please do not hesitate to reach out. We want all our guests to have a pleasurable experience at our Airbnb. Quiet neighborhood. Local restaurants and bars nearby. Beach is a 3 minute walk with beautiful sunrises. We are less than five minutes from Sterling State Park, which has a public boat launch. We have corn hole boards in the side, that is on the side of the garage. Along with a beach buggy with beach items. Please be sure to return everything back in the shed after use. There is no parking at the beach. Guest parking there is at risk for being towed at their expense. This is a great place for traveling nurses or those coming to town for work. We are close to ProMedica Monroe Hospital. We are close to Enrico Fermi Power Plant. We offer weekly and monthly discounts. We offer discounts for those coming in for an Outage at the Fermi plant and traveling nurses. Normally these reservations need to be made far in advance as our weekends are pretty booked that could interrupt time frames of needed stays.
