River View - stunning estuary views

River View offers holiday accommodation with stunning river estuary views in comfort and style. Refurbished in 2022, the cottage/annex sits on the banks of the Alde estuary, near Aldeburgh in Suffolk, one mile down river from renowned Snape Maltings concert hall, café and shops. An abundance of wildlife can be seen from the property windows and garden with easy access to riverside walks through stunning reed beds to the Maltings, directly from the cottage. The space River View is a ground floor cottage/annex available for short breaks and weekly lets. Entrance Hall: Three steps up to enter, wooden floored hall with large cupboards for coats and boots etc. Bedroom 1: King-sized double bed in 'The River Room' – no prizes for guessing why it's called that! Beautifully decorated, it has amazing views of the estuary and countryside beyond. It has a luxuriously comfy bed, top quality bed linen, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2: 'The Garden Room' features two single beds, with quality bed linen. Stunningly decorated, and with a garden view of rhododendrons, a copper beach tree, hedging and lawn. This room also has a built-in wardrobe and small chest of drawers. Open plan living room and kitchen: A large window offers expansive views to the estuary, with a sofa, two armchairs, coffee table and smart TV all part of the living area. At the other end, the fully fitted kitchen includes fridge, sink, dishwasher, and cooker (oven and hob), as well as a washing machine and microwave oven. Bathroom: A modern walk-in shower, WC and washbasin – and not a bad view either! Garden: Lawn area and outdoor table and chairs in the summer months.
