Side Note: The BBQ visible in the images is now no longer in service sadly. Guest access Little Frensham is a charming retreat located within the private, gated grounds of Frensham House. Guests have exclusive use of Little Frensham and its beautifully maintained gardens, which surrounds the property. Little Frenshams garden begins to the left of the parking area (in front of the garage) and extends all the way to the boundary fence. Here, your serene neighbours—a group of quiet, grazing horses—can be seen adding to the peaceful ambiance. While the property is fully fenced, we cannot guarantee that dogs won’t find small gaps, so we kindly ask guests to remain mindful of this. The gardens are professionally maintained every Thursday during the warmer months and fortnightly in winter. Parking and Storage: Guests have access to a parking area located in front of the double garage, with space for two cars. The double garage is also available for your use and is perfect for storing bikes, kayaks, surfboards, or other sports equipment. Outdoor furniture cushions are stored in the storage box by the garage. We kindly request that cushions be returned to the storage box or stored indoors when not in use to protect them from the weather. Access and Security: Guests will be provided with a set of keys to Little Frensham and a programmed key fob for the main gates to the property. Please note that the key fob is specific to the gates, and while we trust our guests to take great care of it, there will be a fee to replace it if lost. Other things to note Your Neighbours at Frensham House: During your stay at Little Frensham, you’ll be sharing the grounds with Mike, Kate, their sons, and their friendly dog Oliver, who live at Frensham House. While we all value our privacy during our getaways, Mike and Kate are mindful of yours and kindly ask for mutual respect in this regard. Oliver is very affectionate and loves attention. He will typically be in the main house or in the garden directly in front of the main house, which is not fenced off from the garden surrounding Little Frensham (though the entire property is securely fenced). Should he wander over and overstay his welcome, please feel free to let me know, and I’ll kindly escort him back to the main house. We also ask that guests refrain from feeding or giving treats to Oliver, as he is on a special diet. As Little Frensham does not have its own washer and dryer, all linen and towels are washed and ironed at the main house using sensitive washing liquid. If a mid stay change is required, please let me know and I'd be more than happy to arrange this for you. There are laundrette services in nearby villages too for your convenience.
