Cozy house with a hot tub

Charming house for a relaxing stay located south of Angoulême. This accommodation will be the perfect base for your visits to Angoulême (15 km) and the Cognac region (30 km) with its Blues Passions Festival in July. Craving seafood? The Atlantic coast is only 1.5 hours away! You can also visit castles in the Bordeaux region (Blaye, Libourne 1.5 hours away). The space You will be welcomed in an old, very functional 100 m² house with a charming little garden that is not overlooked. On the ground floor, you'll find: - an equipped kitchen: oven, microwave oven, gas hob, dishwasher, coffee machine (bean-to-cup), toaster, raclette machine - a living room/dining room with fireplace, sofa bed (which can provide 2 extra beds), a table for 6–8 people, and a hi-fi system - a living room with a 2–3-seater sofa, a flat-screen TV, and a home theater system - A bedroom with a 120 cm bed (1 adult or 2 young children) and the option of adding an extra bed, which is generally reserved for a child (provided), and a storage closet - A second bedroom overlooking the garden with a 160 cm bed and a storage closet - a bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace and garden, which are equipped with a plancha grill, a hammock and 2 deck chairs. You will have access to the hot tub located on the veranda. Upstairs: - A master suite with a sloping ceiling, its own bathroom and toilet. A private courtyard in front of the house that can accommodate 2 vehicles. The house is air-conditioned. Upon your arrival, the beds will be made and towels (1–2 towels/person) will be provided. In the kitchen area, tea towels and hand towels as well as cleaning products will be provided. This house is my primary residence during the year, and I rent it out when I am away. Some personal belongings will remain.
