Heaven on earth between South Harz and Kyffhäuser

A kingdom of heaven on earth - Idyllic garden with large species-rich perennial beds and eastern trees with beautiful views of the Kyffhäuser with monument and southern Harz 8 km south of Sangerhausen The over 1400 sqm paradise is located almost in a single location in the middle of beautiful cultural landscape fields between meadows, fruit pastures and deciduous forest. The space The massive bungalow from the 80s is 30 m², divided into a bright south-facing There are two fixed sleeping options (sofa bed and closet bed). Another mattress and two folding travel mattresses as well as two children's mattresses can be laid on the floor. The furnishings are simple and yet everything is on site for relaxing days to unwind. Cooking is done with two gas stoves. Cooking and dining area as well as living room and bedroom with window view. A higher flight of stairs, which is not safe for small children, must be climbed (see photos). The space is located in the middle of nature and is therefore not hotel-clean. There is also sometimes a spider web, etc. in a corner. There is only electricity if you bring your own electricity generator (from the basement there is a power line to the kitchen) and no tap water. Sparkling water is on site and can be purchased for 0.40 euros/l. There is rainwater and solar shower bags. It can be heated with a wood briquette stove. There is a compost toilet in the bright yellow telephone booth with garden view. The toilet is covered with 0.5 to 1 liter of sawdust after use. If you like, you can pee in the garden. The lawn may not be mowed, but it will not grow tall. In the garden you can camp on the lawn. It is a paradise for children, but there are dangers: stairs (see above), rain barrels, covered shafts in the ground on the way to the telephone booth, blackberry bed, gas bottle in the kitchen. The arrival is via an asphalted dirt road. This is followed by a partially bumpy uneven track for about 100 m. Please park on the grass path before my property starts or in the turning circle (up to 2 m high possible). In the village of Brücken (-Hackpüffel), less than two kilometers, a 30-minute beautiful walk, there is a bus stop with a connection to Sangerhausen. The nearest train station is Wallhausen (Helme). It is 5 km away and a 1-hour walk. Here you can arrive by train from Berlin/Potsdam via Dessau and Sangerhausen. Especially on Sundays and holidays at off-peak times, this place is easier to reach than Brücken by bus. Directly at the train station is a Netto and a bakery. In Brücken there is a Tante-Emma shop, check opening hours in advance. The beds are all covered from dust, so it does not look invitingly prepared like a hotel.
