The Old School House and former teacher's residence of Gundy is a unique and historically significant building in this small village, 20km east of Scone in the Upper Hunter. Lovingly restored and renovated, it has wide verandahs with French doors leading off from most rooms. Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. We are also a great jump off point for the Barrington Tops and a visit to Aussie Ark. The Old School was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The adjacent teacher's residence has been fully renovated and with exquisite décor, quality linen and luxurious queen beds, you are assured of a relaxing stay. The house is within walking distance to the local pub (open Wed - Sun) and General Store. Walk or cycle to scenic lookouts over Glenbawn Dam right from the door.
