Quiet, Spacious, Remodeled Suite, Longterm Stays

Enjoy the convenience of a quiet location, just minutes to downtown Carlisle, the Carlisle Hospital, Army War College, Amazon, Dickinson College. Guests get a private, three-room basement suite. The suite is in a well kept ranch-style house on a quiet cul-de-sac, with free, off-street parking. The main level is occupied by my retired mom, Mary. Guests can feel free to relax on the plant-filled back patio and use the large, fenced-in backyard. The space The private 3-room guest suite consists of a large main room with a king bed, the living area, and a kitchenette. The bed is a memory foam mattress with cozy bedding. A nightstand on each side has a convenient touch lamp with integrated 120v outlets and 2 USB ports. There is a dresser and a closet. The kitchenette has a dining table, a full-sized fridge/freezer, toaster oven, microwave, Kurig, and an electric tea kettle. Please note that this is a nicer version of a hotel-style kitchenette intended for simple meal prep, and there is no stove or sink. The living area has a sectional couch, a 55" Roku TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, and an electric faux fireplace for ambiance and heat (during warm months, the ambient flames can be used with the heat off). The second room is an office space that can be closed off from the main room. It has a desk, large monitor, and ethernet connection. The full modern bathroom was installed in 2021. It has a tub/shower combo. Guests are welcome to share use of the large back yard and patio, where you can often find my mom working in her flower gardens or re-potting plants. Please note that she requests you do not invite unregistered guests, and please limit your use of the yard/patio to the hours of 8am-9pm. There is a patio table and chairs you can use if you'd like to eat outside and a nice porch swing for relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea. Mom's house is a great location to use as your home base when working at or visiting Dickinson College or Carlisle Hospital. You will be convenient to: - downtown Carlisle and Dickinson College (5 minutes) - Boiling Springs (5 minutes) - the Carlisle Fairgrounds (10 minutes) - historic Gettysburg (30 minutes) - Hershey (40 minutes) Guest access Private basement apartment with separate entrance. Shared back yard and patio. Other things to note This is a private basement apartment with a separate entrance accessed from the garage. Guests will not need to enter the main house.
