Families travelling with children are welcome, the house has a play area with books and toys as well as a crib if needed. Guests also have access to wifi and the best cell service in town. Our home is located in West Dawson, an off-grid neighbourhood across the Yukon River from Dawson City. It is accessible via the George Black Ferry. This is a 7 min ferry ride that operates 24/7 and is free of charge. The house is about a 5 minute drive from the West Dawson ferry landing. The ferry can get busy in the summer and wait times vary, however you can always skip the line if crossing on foot or bike, and accessing Dawson by foot from here is an easy option.
