Self contained Barn, Old Hatfield, Hatfield, Herts
Self contained Barn, Old Hatfield, Hatfield, Herts
Description
A renovated, stylish, self contained, barn conversion including all modern commodities, tucked away in the historic village of Old Hatfield. It’s a 2 minute walk to Hatfield train station (21 mins to Kings Cross), local pubs and Hatfield House - ideal for business and leisure users. Please note the barn is on our property & is independently accessed by its own front door away from the house. There is a small courtyard area which you are welcome to use along with a washing line for your use. The space The Barn is a self contained, open plan L shaped building which has been carefully renovated to make it modern, warm, centrally heated and cosy. It is very light as it has windows and doors on 3 sides of the building although there are blinds and curtains in the bedroom. Broadband and a smart TV is also provided plus a smaller TV in the bedroom. (NB: the cancelled listings in 2019 were made as we moved abroad for a few years! This was done in good faith with plenty of notice given - we pride ourselves on being honest and open hosts as hopefully you will see by our reviews). Guest access Guests will have full use of The Barn which is self contained at the bottom of the garden of our family home. It has its own front door and can be accessed independently ensuring privacy for guests. We would appreciate the understanding that the Barn is in our family garden and we will be walking through it in the mornings and during the day to access the garage which is next to The Barn. In summer, the garden is used a lot whilst being respectful of barn guests. Other things to note We have a very friendly (non barking) young, black Labrador who will of course use the garden at times. She is pretty nosy and enjoys any fuss on offer but we do ask that guests don't invite her indoors as we know that not everyone would welcome this! Parking is not provided - more info on this can be given on request.
