Take the ferry ride over to Mackinac Island! Beautifully updated and recently remodeled! The house is fully furnished with everything you need for vacation, just pack a bag and head north! Perfect location with access to many activities! The house is 3 miles from downtown Cheboygan located in a private subdivision with deeded access right down the hill to the Cheboygan River. Enjoy water activities, boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking! The Forks public boat launch is 1 mile away to enjoy boating the Inland Waterway (Cheboygan River, Mullett Lake, Burt Lake, Indian River, Lake Huron). Dock parking is not available at the property at this time. Enjoy viewing the river at the subdivision's private access. Ready to hit the trails? Nearby trails can be used for snowmobiling, biking, running, walking during each season. A short walk/bike trip will connect you to the trail system, travel .5 miles in each direction to find yourself on the North Eastern trail headed to Mackinaw City or the North Central trail headed down Mullett Lake to Indian River. You can also travel a few short miles by trail system or roads to Black Mountain and Black Lake. Black Mountain area is also well known for ATV riding in the summertime. Come up north for a weekend or a week and experience the great outdoors! Take a day trip to visit iconic Mackinaw City + Mackinac Island! Mackinaw City is about a 20-25 minute drive from Cheboygan and features many great shops including famous fudge shops! The Headlands Dark Sky Park is located on the outskirts of Mackinaw City and is a great nature walk! Several boat ferry companies operate from Mackinaw City and will take you across the water to visit Mackinac Island. Explore the area state parks Aloha, Wilderness and Cheboygan for additional hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing trails! After a day on the Cheboygan River or exploring Mackinac Island come back to your relaxing rental to enjoy an evening of ping pong or game of pool in the newly screened in garage space. Then head to the backyard for a bonfire to wind down and off to a great night sleep! Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, living room space, garage with pool table, ping pong , outdoor firepite and deck are all available to guests.
