The Sun Deck is a comfortable semi-detached house located in a quiet cul-de-sac with a raised south facing deck, great views over Cornish countryside & off road parking. Ideally located with sandy beaches within 5-10 mins drive & just off the A30 for easy access to the rest of Cornwall. Surrounded with beautiful walks, bike trails & 5 mins drive from the stunning views of the north cliffs & Tehidy Woods. Supermarkets nearby. 1 double, I double or twin, I single + spare bed. Fast wifi. The space A whole 3 bedroom house with front and back dog proof garden and south facing decking with outdoor eating area and great views. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining area, and comfortable lounge with 41" TV and fast reliable wifi. The bedrooms consist of one double, one twin or double and one single. There is an additional spare single fold out bed available on request. There is a family bath and shower. There will be a hamper of Cornish goodies waiting so that you can relax with a cuppa on your arrival (coffee, sugar, Cornish tea, herbal teas, milk, clotted cream fudge and Cornish biscuits). There is a free parking for one car on the private drive and free street parking for more cars in the quiet cul-de-sac or nearby. Use of the garage is not included. There is a comprehensive guide to the local area, beaches, places to visit, places to eat, walks, cycle trails and amenities you can access online as well as a more comprehensive guide with more useful information and emergency contacts etc at the house. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are most welcome, please respect other guests and keep them to the uncarpeted areas downstairs. There is an area for dogs under the stairs with a bed, bowls and a bag of complementary treats available on request. The garden is totally dog proof front and back and the area is surrounded by lots of amazing walking trails. No smoking is allowed in the property, however smoking is permitted in the outside seated areas using the ash trays provided to dispose of all buts and keeping the windows and french windows closed to avoid any smoke entering the house. There is an extra fold out memory foam bed for an extra person available on request. KITCHEN The well equipped kitchen has a 6 burner cooker with 2 ovens and separate grill, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, an extending oak dining table that can seat between 4-6 people and a tap with filtered drinking water. There is a welcome to Cornwall pack with tide time book (essential when visiting Cornwall), leaflets and a Cornwall map. I provide cleaning products including anti-bacterial hand soap, sanitizer, washing up liquid, washing machine liquid, disinfectant cleaner, window cleaner, stain remover, dishwasher tablets (1 per night), sponges, clothes, sanitiser. There are also spare bin liners, foil, cling film, baking paper, salt & pepper, olive oil. OUTDOOR DINING There is an outdoor dining table with 4 chairs and umbrella on the south facing decked area with great views over the local hills and valleys. There is a metal bucket for disposing of BBQ ash. Please keep lit BBQ's in the lawned back garden and NOT on the decking, thank you. In the alley below the decked area are a couple of body boards, fishing nets, buckets and spades and a tub for bringing wet wetsuits / towels etc back from the beach. LOUNGE The lounge has large 2 seater and 3 seater sofas, a 41" TV with prime and Netflix, DVD player, books, family games, a selection of DVDs, local walking maps and leaflets about places of interest. BEDROOMS There is a main double bedroom with built-in wardrobe and drawers, a double or twin room in with built-in wardrobe and drawers and a single room with small drawers and tables. Each bedroom has child proof locks on the windows. Each bed has a waterproof, anti-bacterial mattress and pillow protectors, a fitted sheet, 10.5 togg duvet, duvet and pillow covers with a bolster and blanket each. There are spare pillows in the airing cupboard. BATHROOM There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. There is a bath sheet hand towel and face cloth for each guest with additional hand towel, anti-bacterial hand soap and cleaning products/clothes/sponge in the bathroom (these are stored out of reach of children). There is a charging plug for rechargeable toothbrushes just outside the bathroom door on the landing. Please note BEACH TOWELS are NOT included. SAFETY & CLEANING I want you to relax and enjoy your holiday, therefore please rest assured that I follow air B&B enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures. I also used to clean at the 5 star Gwel-an-Mor resort, so I will ensure that the property is clean and sanitized for you. I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs and light switches. I hoover all drawers and use cleaners and disinfectants to fully sanitize all areas, I wear protective gear to help prevent any cross-contamination. I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room. I provide extra cleaning supplies and anti-bacterial hand soaps and sanitiser, so you can clean as you stay if you want to. I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines. Each bed has fresh waterproof, anti-bacterial mattress and pillow protectors and bedding for every guest. Outside steps are clearly marked and lit with sensor lighting at night, (If any of the light stop working, please let me know straight away and I will have it repaired). There are childproof socket protectors on all low level sockets and spare ones in a drawer in the sideboard. This does not include beach towels. Up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed Smoking is prohibited in the house, but allowed in the garden. I do not cater for under 2 year olds. You may request to bring under 2 year olds, but please contact me first. No car charging allowed at the property. There are car charging places within 10 minutes walk away. The heating is all electric. Between Oct 1st and March 31st the is a fair usage policy for electricity of 15 day units and 7 night units per day. Any extra is chargeable.
