Caribbean Stilt house, in the Mikito Cays. Away from land, and so far away from Civilisation that your phone will show "no network" fir the entire time of your stay. Spend most of your time exploring the little stilthouse-community in the Mikitos, snorkeling in the reef, fishing or just relaxing. To get there, you need a crew of 3 people, a boat, navigation equipment, special permits, and many canisters pf fuel. Costs per trip (1-4 days, 1-6 ppl, is around 950 - 1200 USD). Guest access This stilthouse can only be acessed by boat. A seperate trip needs to be booked. Other things to note This is a Stilthouse. Amenities are very basic, there is no running water, no electricity and no cellphone connection. The boat-crew will be with you, unless you wish otherwise, communicate your wish to be alone at least 2 (better more) days before the trip, and pay for an extra Stilthouse where the boatcrew can stay/sleep. You can sleep on the floor or in very simple hammocks. Do not hesitate to reach out to me in regards to any questions you may have. The boatcrew usually brings food for you, and cooks it together with freshly caught fish. When it is safe enough to cross the ocean to get to the stilthouse depends on the weather.
