Cabin with hot tub located near hiking trails

Your adventure begins here! This quaint little cabin is located on 6 peaceful acres adjoining thousands of acres of the Ozark National Forest. The only neighbors you'll see are the cows in the neighboring field. This location is perfect for hikers. It's close to the following trails - Glory Hole, Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag), Lost Valley, and Alum Cove. It's also a great location to see the Elk in the Boxley Valley or canoe/kayak the Buffalo River (water levels vary throughout the year). The space Guests have full access to the entire property. The main level includes the 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living and bathroom. The basement includes the washer/dryer and a couple of video games and mini pool table. Guest access Guests can park in the gravel circle drive in front of the cabin or on the gravel drive to the side of the cabin. Other things to note We have an old barn on the property. It is currently not usable so please do not enter. There is also a small pond behind it that we are trying to get to hold water. It does not have fish in it but that is our goal. In the basement we have chosen to have an exposed ceiling and exposed rock wall and keep it with a rustic feel. It is heated and cooled. Depending on the amount of rainfall there can be seepage at the bottom of the rock wall so there are absorbent tubes along the wall just in case (please do not move them). Off the basement patio there is a hot tub and chairs and outdoor bed. This home is located in the woods. There are bugs, snakes, wild animals including bears. Of course we hope that none of those things ever gets inside the cabin, but they could be lurking around the outside. Guests should be comfortable in this setting before booking the cabin.
