Nestled amidst the serene wilderness of Potter County lies the enchanting Moonlit Cabin, a haven where time slows & nature's melody takes center stage. Nestled snugly amid towering trees each corner of the cabin tells a tale of rustic elegance. As the sun sets painting the sky in hues of crimson & gold the magic truly comes alive. Venture outside to a blanket of stars with each flicker of the fire you're enveloped in tranquility. The promise of adventure awaits just beyond the cabin's doorstep. The space Adventure awaits - Hike, ride, bike, drive (all-wheel or 4x4 with decent clearance/Mid-size SUV, SUV, Van, Truck) highly recommended the 3/4 mile switchback road to the top of Potter County. 20 acres of private wooded land to explore on top of a mountain. Watch the stars over an outdoor campfire. Watch the sun rise over a cup of coffee on the front porch or watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine on the back porch. WINTER MONTHS ( Dec-March) require an ATV to access the cabin. A waiver will be sent for the guest's signature. WINTER months - Potter County is widely considered one of the best counties to snowmobile in all of PA. Access miles of groomed & ungroomed trails (depending on experience level) at the Potter County Snowmobile Club located 1.3 miles up the street from our cabin. Checkout the trail map in the photo gallery. Firewood is provided by the Owners and stacked in the rear of the property. Guests are welcome to bring firewood if preferred. Guest access Lock & Key - Passcode to be provided once booked. Other things to note There is a spiral staircase to access the loft/sleeping area. A 5-gallon water dispenser shall be supplied for drinking water. Shower & toilet water are provided via the 500-gallon water catch system. Heat is provided by electric heaters on the main floor and loft. To adjust temperature use the controls located on the individual heaters (no house thermostat). There is a wood-burning stove for ambiance for guests who are comfortable using a wood stove. Instructions on how to safely use a woodstove are in the binder. Feel free to bring firewood if you plan to use the stove or have a fire in the firepit outback. AC is provided via a window unit in the loft for the months of May through September. The AC window unit cools the entire cabin. Although there are bunk beds in the basement they are strictly prohibited for use. Spare batteries for cabin devices such as remote controls or flashlights are in the kitchen drawer (far right). BE AWARE that there is a spiral staircase (see photos) with a handrail. There are bars with OPENINGS on the main floor. PLEASE review all of the photos before booking.
