Looking for a greener, more scenic way to travel? Leave the car behind and bring your bikes instead! We offer secure bike storage, and there are excellent train links to York. From York Station, enjoy a leisurely one-hour bike ride through stunning countryside to reach Westow. Want to avoid busy roads? Just ask—we’re happy to provide a safe and scenic route. Superb newly renovated holiday accommodation with central heating. Charlie's Barn is a cute barn conversion set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. Ideal for couples but can accommodate a family of 4. A bespoke handmade, compact kitchen with Belfast sink, full size oven and fridge with small freezer section. A comfy living room area with sofa bed (ideal for 2 children or 1 adult, please note that access to the bathroom is via the bedroom!) There is a dining table in front of a charming window seat. Outside is a beautiful small south facing courtyard with a stunning wisteria and a creeping vine which produces the most delicious grapes. Guests should be aware that the barn is designed to cater for two people as a rule but families are very welcome. If you plan to use the sofa bed, extra bedding can be provided for a £10 cleaning fee (free when booked for additional guests). We can only accept 3 adults due to the size of the barn. One of only a few holiday homes in the village with secure off road parking, on a driveway directly outside your front door. Can be booked with ‘The Cart shed’ also listed with Airbnb. The Cart shed is a large bedroom with en-suite and has its own access. Unsuitable for wheelchair users. Other things to note If you’ve got little ones, there’s no need to worry:  a high chair, baby bath and a cot (please bring your own bedding and towels) are available for your use. The courtyard is private and secure (for cocker spaniel sized dogs!) Please bring your own dog bed. We politely ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and are not left unattended.
