Description
Located on a quiet lane surrounded by farmland with beautiful views, our cosy shepherd's hut is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring or a night out in town. We are only a 10 mins drive from Cork City Centre, so you can enjoy great food and pints and then come back to a cosy home. Blarney Castle and Gardens (10 mins), beautiful beaches like Inch Beach in County Cork (40 mins), the Jameson Experience Midleton (15 mins) are some of the many beautiful places nearby. The space The hut is a solid steel structure, fitted out with amazing carpentry. The interior is a mix of traditional and modern design which makes it a home away from home. You can enjoy your morning coffee with beautiful views of farmland all around you with double patio doors that can be fully opened. From June/July to October there will be cattle on the fields around our place so you might not only be greeted by us but also meet a few friendly bullocks! It is a small but cosy space so we recommend to only take your valuables and the few bits and pieces you need for your stay into the hut if you travel by car and have the option to leave large luggage pieces in the boot. A large electric gate provides privacy and extra security (not really needed but still nice to have!). Other things to note **The kitchen is only suitable for preparing breakfast and light meals like salads, sandwiches, breakfast etc. It is equipped with a microwave and a fridge, a salad bowl, cutlery, plates, chopping boards, salt and pepper, a small bottle of milk. **Please note our Wifi can be spotty at times, especially during bad weather (no wired internet on the farm). If you were planning to watch Netflix on your phone I would recommend to download the movie/episodes you want to watch before you arrive, just to be sure :)
