Just 15 minutes from the heart of Mudgee, you will drive through the gate of our 100 acres and start to unwind. As you explore the olive grove and the vineyard, you will find an abundance of wildlife and beautiful spots to enjoy a picnic. A perfect base to explore the Mudgee region, then come back and sample the local produce you bought on the way, add a bottle of wine from our vineyard and relax. The space Take in the beauty of our Olive Grove and Vineyard as you roll along our property gravel road, approaching a perfect space to wind down and take in the serenity of country living. If you are looking for a cosy and rustic getaway with your favorite person, ‘Elm’s Den’ is a perfect spot for you. Access your own wing of the homestead that is guarded by a beautiful old Elm, through the private entrance from the vineyard. Open a bottle of our local wine, put a record on the turntable and kick back on the lounge with 180 degree nature views. The paddock rock and Oregon timber walls radiate country charm and the large main room with its wood fireplace in winter and natural coolness in summer is a place you hardly will want to leave. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to stay in and has a gas stove, electric oven, microwave and all the tools you need to prepare a beautiful meal. We provide pantry basics including our own cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, spices & herbs, and you will find some fresh farm eggs and milk in the fridge. And there is a nice little Weber BBQ ready for your exclusive use. The bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan and an electric heater for the colder nights. We provide lighter and warmer doonas depending on the season. There is a choice of firmer and softer cushions and all bedding is top quality and hypoallergenic. The separate TV room has a large flat screen and a comfy sofa to relax on. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and Netflix and Foxtel are provided. You have your private road to the cottage with dedicated parking for easy access with your luggage across the level lawns. Guest access Parking is just 30 steps from the door on the house paddock and you can access your separate entrance across the level lawns. Simply follow the 'Elm’s Den’ signs once you have entered the property through the main gate. We invite you to explore the olive grove and vineyard, either on your own on in combination with a guided tour during which we are happy to share insights on growing grapes and olives and on getting those delicious juices into bottles. Other things to note Our two dogs Leo and Hunter are very friendly and love to say hello and hang around to play. There are various other farm animals on the property, including a couple of donkeys, two cows, some goats, sheep, two cats and some chooks who provide us with beautiful fresh farm eggs. You can taste and purchase wines from our own vineyard and label as well as Olive Oils from our olive grove. Registration Details PID-STRA-37139
