During December - all week nights $60 & weekends $80! Enjoy your stay in our private apartment! Gorgeous mountain views - centrally located in the Shenandoah Valley, less than a mile from Massanutten Resort. Take advantage of the close proximity to Shenandoah National Park - 9 mi/15 minutes to Swift Run Gap entrance! We are also just a short 5 minute drive to the Shenandoah River. Harrisonburg, JMU, EMU, and the many breweries/vineyards are all close by! The apartment has two large bedrooms with a queen size bed, night stand, alarm clock, lamp, dresser and closet space in each. One of the bedrooms has a washer & dryer for your convenience. The living room is complete with a sectional and flat screen, connected to a fully equipped kitchen with bar top seating. The bathroom has a stand up shower only - those who have babies may want to pack a baby bath tub or use the kitchen sink! The apartment entrance is located on our back deck. Guests are free to use the back deck if they would like. Guest may also walk around the property and check out the farm animals, or to walk their pets. We do live below the apartment, and share the back deck with guests - where the entrance to the apartment is. We may see guests in passing, but we try not to intrude. If we do cross paths with guests, we are happy to say hello, introduce ourselves & help with anything you they need. We have our contact info listed on the information sheets posted upstairs on the wall. (Our phone numbers are provided in case of emergency - otherwise we use our Airbnb app to communicate!) Nestled in a very quiet area of Mcgaheysville Please be aware we do live in the bottom half of the home - the apartment is in the upstairs of the home. There is a door that connects the two halves of the home from the inside at the bottom of the stairs next to the outdoor entrance. We keep this door shut, locked with a padlock & have a noise cancelling block under the door to help with noise. There are times where we may be able to hear some noise from each other. We do try to keep it down & be mindful of your peace, and we ask the same from guests. With that said, we are a family with small kids, who know how unpredictable noise from children can be and completely understand! We don’t mind if we can hear your littles from above. No worries parents - WE GET IT! We welcome guests of all ages, but please note that the entrance to the apartment is a flight of stairs that leads directly into the living area of the space. This flight of stairs could be particularly dangerous to small children and toddlers. There is no way to fit a baby gate at the top of the stairs due to the way they are set up. So please be aware if you have small children and are wanting to book. If you are comfortable with monitoring your child around the stairs, we are okay with that. We have had no safety incidents!
