Centrally located, the cabin is a great base for exploring the surrounding towns or hiking the breathtaking mountains of Maine. Whether you are looking to escape the chaos, get in touch with nature, or work remotely, make this year round peaceful sanctuary your next escape. The space ~ The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 guests, with two queen beds, one in the bedroom and one in the upstairs loft. The sleeper sofa is also a queen size and fits two people. ~ Extra linens can be found in the trunk in the living room. ~ A full bathroom is in the main cabin along with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap. ~ The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and all other cooking essentials. ~ Stepping into the living room is the staircase to the loft, as well as a smart TV, electric fireplace, and stunning views of Round Pond. ~ Overlooking the water is the outdoor fire pit surrounded by 6 Adirondack chairs. ~ The basement is a perfect hangout space with various board games to play for a fun night in. ~ Fantastic location for hiking, kayaking and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property for the duration of your stay. Please note, access to the basement is through the sliding doors in the back. There is no basement access through the main cabin. Other things to note Just 45 minutes from Portland and an hour to some of Maine's best skiing, such as Sugarloaf Mountain & Sunday River. Also just 2.5 hours from Boston (mostly highway!). The cabin is also surrounded by tons of mountains and hiking trails and only about 3 hours from Acadia National Park.
