It is located 5 minutes from the amazing Chelem beaches, and we have access to the best beach club in town¡ The house has three bedrooms, each room and each space of the house has been thought to bring you relaxation and joy! The space Our Beautiful and Cozy Saasil House is located in the calm and peaceful town of Chelem, right next to Puerto Progreso in Yucatan. You will fall in love with the beautiful Costa Esmeralda!!! Chelem is a fishing town, where you will find a serene place to rest and enjoy the unique climate of Yucatan. Our house gives you privacy and a perfect place to have an amazing vacation, right across the street you can find the common areas with another pool and a place to cook a grilled meal (ask 24 hrs before to use it. Important: The expenses from light, gas, water, internet, cleaning pool the guest pay directly 💫 In case the electricity supply is cut by Merida electric company (CFE) or water supply is cut by the company, this will not be grounds for requesting a refund. The host is not responsible for any unexpected service interruptions provided by these companies. Guest access We have access to the private beach club Playa Bonita, minimum consumption $150 pesos ($8 usd aprox). This beach club is about 10 minutes walking from the house. The Club has a pool, lounge chairs and a very good restaurant with an amazing sea view. We have only a few steps the common are too, with bbq and an other pool! Other things to note It’s important to remember that Chelem is a small fishing town that is in development. Local government provides water and electricity, so its important to consider that the infrastructure may temporarily fail during your stay. Sometimes there can be blackouts and shortage of water (this hasn’t happened in months however), In case you experience any of this issues please contact us and let us know and we will make our best to see that the services are restored. In case the electricity supply is cut by Tulum's electric company (CFE) or water supply is cut by CAPA, this will not be grounds for requesting a refund. The host is not responsible for any unexpected service interruptions provided by these companies. We like to take care of the environment, so we ask of your help to: •When possible open the doors and let the natural air to keep the house fresh, use AC only if needed. •Remember to turn off the lights, TV, ACs and fans when leaving the house. •If you turn on the AC its important to close all Windows and doors. Please follow these rules: •No smoking inside the house. •No parties allowed. We need to keep the harmony in the community. •You need to park in our parking spots (right in front of the house) •House must be kept clean and trash should be taken out. If you need extra cleaning service, please let us know and we Will arrange it for you at the daily rate. •No loud noise allowed after 10 pm. •Upon your arrival we Will supply one bathroom and one beach towel per person. If you lose one of them there is a 25 USD find to pay. •Close doors and Windows when leaving. •Maximum capacity of the house is 8 people. •Avoid using sunscreen in the private pool. We appreciate you helping us keeping Chelem clean and happy ;) En Chelem, Yucatán, el transporte público es limitado pero sí hay servicio de autobuses y combis que conectan el puerto con Progreso y, desde ahí, con Mérida. Aquí te explico cómo funciona: 🚌 1. De Mérida a Chelem No hay autobuses directos desde Mérida hasta Chelem, pero puedes hacerlo fácilmente con un transbordo: Opción 1 (más común): Toma un autobús o combi de la empresa AutoProgreso desde la terminal en Mérida: 📍 Calle 62 entre 65 y 67, Centro de Mérida. Sale un camión aproximadamente cada 20-30 minutos hacia Progreso. Duración: 45-60 minutos. Costo: alrededor de $30 MXN. Ya en Progreso, en la misma terminal o a unas cuadras, puedes tomar: Una combi o mototaxi hacia Chelem. Salen con frecuencia durante el día (cada 15-20 minutos). Costo: $20–25 MXN. Tiempo: 15 minutos aprox. 🚌 2. De Chelem a Mérida El regreso es igual pero en sentido contrario: Desde el centro de Chelem salen combis hacia Progreso todo el día (especialmente hasta las 8:00 p.m. aprox.). En Progreso tomas nuevamente el camión de AutoProgreso a Mérida. 🚖 3. Alternativas Mototaxis dentro de Chelem: muy comunes, económicos (entre $15–30 MXN por trayecto corto). Taxis o Didi desde Progreso (si no hay transporte nocturno). En temporada alta, a veces hay servicios directos o turísticos entre Mérida y Chelem.
