In winter months, enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, tubing and much more. Get outside and enjoy our beautiful summer months! Hiking, boating/fishing, ATVing, biking, golf, and more are all nearby. Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed Bedroom 2: 2 Full Beds Additional Sleeping: Pack n' Play INDOOR LIVING: Full kitchen, comfortable living space with available books and games, small dining space, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub, desk work area KITCHEN: Gorgeously updated and fully equipped! Full array of appliances and utensils, pots and pans, drip coffee maker, electric tea kettle, and dishwasher. We also provide enough coffee and tea to get you started, creamer, sugar, and a few cooking basics (salt and pepper, oil, a few spices) BATHROOM: Large tile shower, soaking tub, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, towels, black make-up washcloths, hair dryer OUTDOORS: HOT TUB, large deck, large table with chairs and umbrella for outdoor dining, grill, fire pit (*please read fire rules carefully*) *HOT TUB USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK: by booking your reservation you are acknowledging that the owners are not responsible for injuries related to use of the hot tub* GENERAL: Huge Smart TV with soundbar, WiFi, linens and towels provided, washer/dryer, heated by 4 infrared wall heating units. PELLET STOVE NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE. PET FRIENDLY: 1 well behaved dog allowed: $40 pet fee applies (no cats, please). To respect our property and future guests, absolutely no dogs on beds or furniture. Please keep a close eye on your pets at all times as wildlife are abundant in the area. Please be respectful and ALWAYS pick up after your pet and dispose of waste properly. Never leave pets unattended in the home, unless properly crated MAXIMUM CAPACITY: Kindly respect our 5 person max at all times. This includes small children and infants PARKING: Available parking for up to 3 cars TRASH: TRASH REMOVAL IS THE GUESTS RESPONSIBILITY. We use the Grand Lake 'Pay as you throw' blue bag trash system. Should you need trash removal during your stay, it will be your responsibility to transport the blue bag into town to the drop-off site, as well as at the end of your stay. These special blue bags are provided and detailed instructions will be posted at the cabin. NEVER LEAVE TRASH OUTSIDE. HEATING AND COOLING: In colder months, infrared wall heaters are used to warm the cabin. These are easy to use and instructions will be posted in the cabin Welcome Book. PELLET STOVE NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE. Portable fans available for cooling. CHILDRENS AMENITIES: We provide a pack n' play with mattress and sheet, highchair, sound machine, a handful of books, toys, and games. If you do use the pack n' play or highchair, please leave them out upon departure so they can be properly cleaned. FIREPIT: Only to be used if done so responsibly! Fire/burn bans are common in Grand County and it will be your responsibility to look up this information before starting any open fires. Only small fires allowed. Never start a fire if any wind is present. Never leave unattended. FULLY drown fire with water once finished, stir, then drown again until completely extinguished! There is a bucket kept under to hot tub deck for this purpose. QUIET HOURS: Grand County quiet hours are from 7pm-7am. Please be respectful of our neighbors at all times Guest access Guest have access to our entire home for their stay. Other things to note Moose, bear, and other countless wildlife are commonly seen in this area. While it is an amazing experience to see these animals close up, in can be very dangerous. Please do not approach, feed, or otherwise bother any wildlife you may see. Never leave food or trash outside for any amount of time. Always keep children and pets close and within sight. We do recommend 4x4, snow tires, or chains during snow months. The cabin is not far off the highway and our neighborhood roads do get plowed often, but can still be difficult if snow and ice are present. Trash removal will be the guest's responsibility. Trash instructions and special bags are provided at the cabin to take to drop-off site in town.
