Between the Vercors and the forest of the Chambaran Nature Park, the Ecrin de Nature, a place dedicated to calm and well-being, welcomes you in a large independent gîte of 130 m2 classified 3* in the heart of an old renovated farm nestled in the middle of a flowery park, horses and a beautiful pool area surrounded by vegetation to recharge your batteries. The space On the ground floor: a beautiful independent terrace awaits you as well as a large living room (kitchen and dining room), a cellar, a toilet, a shower room Upstairs: you will have a beautiful comfortable attic-style chalet-type living room and 3 bedrooms: - The Prairie room (petrol blue, green and gold color theme): 2 twin beds of 90 (i.e. a King size of 180) + a bathroom with bathtub + private toilet completed with a sofa bed overlooking the meadows and horses - The Nature room (string, natural beige and mustard color theme): 2 twin beds of 80 (i.e. a double of 160) + a shower room + a toilet + a private balcony with independent entrance - The Mountain Room (attic in panelling): 2 beds of 90 cm with separate toilet and shower room on the ground floor. Usually assigned to children, teens or single people. The cottage must be left clean upon checkout, dishes washed and put away, trash emptied and disposed of (containers available in the village). House rules must be signed and respected on site for the smooth running of your stay. Guest access Check-ins between 5:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. Checkouts between 8:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. A pool area not overlooked in the middle of the vegetation, its deckchairs and summer terrace will be shared with us at limited times between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to give us time for its maintenance. Unheated pool open from May to September depending on weather conditions and water quality (may be closed for your health in case of water quality problems beyond our control) Swimming is left under your full supervision, we decline any responsibility in case of an accident. It is a quiet place dedicated to rest, and the horses fear the agitation; the tranquility of the premises must therefore be respected, we reserve the right to close the pool in case of noise or nuisance and to interrupt the stay if the rules are not respected. The estate is located on a plateau at an altitude of 360 m. Parking is available within the property for cars, horse van hitch or small horse transport truck. Closed bike storage available. Private paddocks and 1 box are available for your horses (grass, hay and water available for €10/night) and a shower, grooming area and tack room are shared. The horses of the Venisio (the blond), Prince (the brown) and Tenessee (the brown & white piebald) estate will undoubtedly welcome you on your arrival, they must not be fed or approached without authorization as the electrified fences can be dangerous. We are not responsible for any accidents on the property. You will surely meet Angèl the tiger and white kitten with green eyes and Luky the black cat with golden eyes watching over the estate and certainly Soks our adorable funny little dog. Other things to note Many tours will delight you: The large walnut dryer, the hanging houses and the water museum of Pont-en-Royans, the village of Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye (Most Beautiful Village of France and its abbey church), the caves of Choranche & Thaïs, the Aqueduct of Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans, cruise on the Isère aboard a paddle boat, the Bourne Gorges and the magnificent roads of the Vercors carved into the side of cliffs. La Drôme is a few km away, you can also visit Romans-sur-Isère and its shoe museum, the Valrhona chocolate museum in Valence... Specialties of the region: The AOC walnut produced here and its derivatives including walnut oil, the famous and tasty St Marcellin cheese, the ravioli of Romans Access to the A49 motorway 10 minutes away, St Marcellin or Vinay exits. TGV Valence is 25 minutes away & TER St Marcellin station is 8 minutes away. Small green "Foncemanen" signs will guide you to the estate. The nearest shops and restaurants are 5 km away.
