The beaver house between lakes and mountains

At the foot of the Grand Colombier massif, 20 minutes from Lake Bourget, 45 minutes from Annecy and Geneva, our family cocoon will welcome you for a break in the countryside, lulled by the song of birds. From the house you will have access on foot, by bike or by car to the small shops of Seyssel: bulk and local food store, bakeries, butchers, restaurants... After a day of cycling on the Viarhôna, canoeing on the Rhône or hiking... you can dine in one of the restaurants. The space With an area of 150 m2, the Castors' house is divided into: - a ground floor: equipped kitchen (induction stove, oven, fridge/freezer, espresso machine, kettle) and dining room, living room and games and reading room for children, terrace and access to the garden, a toilet, - First floor: two children's bedrooms (1 single bed per bedroom), a study area, a shower room, and a toilet, - A second floor in the attic: a lounge area for relaxing, a first bedroom (1 double bed) with a private bathroom, a second bedroom (1 double bed), and a toilet. At the request of our guests, we provide baby equipment: crib, bathtub, bouncer, and gates to secure the stairs. Outside, explore the 5000 m2 garden: - In the morning, at breakfast on the terrace or with your feet in the grass at the picnic table, let yourself be lulled by the birdsong. Observe our feathered roommates through binoculars and meet a squirrel's gaze, - After the midday siesta, come and cool off at the bottom of the garden by the small creek of the Volage while the kids have fun building cabins, -In the early evening, enjoy the freshness of the Japanese garden (in the process of being created) to have an aperitif, - In the evening, after dinner, go exploring—you might come across a beaver, fireflies, stag beetles, salamanders, and more. Linens and towels will be provided. Our house has Wi-Fi; the code will be provided to you. This will allow you to have internet access to connect to your various NETFLIX, SALTO, DISNEY accounts.... We don't have a TV or platform subscription. Guest access Our guests have access to the different spaces described above. On the second floor, a third bedroom will be locked as it is used for storing our personal belongings. Access will also be provided to the cellar (at least 1 person) to store bicycles… and also to be able to access the washing machine. Other things to note - Our cat Paulette will accompany you during your stay. She loves cuddles. We would appreciate it if you could take care of this. Daily care: kibble and fresh water. Paulette is independent to get in and out of the house, to do her business. In case you are prone to allergies to cat hair, unfortunately our house will not be suitable for you;-) - Coquette, Coquillette, and Noirode are our chickens (unless the fox comes by before you arrive). You will be able to dispose of fresh eggs for breakfast in exchange for which we will be grateful to you for feeding the grain chickens, food and water to be given, cleaning the droppings . The chicken coop opens and closes automatically. - During your stay, depending on the weather conditions, I may come to water and maintain the vegetable garden (between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.). When I come, I will only have access to the vegetable garden. - The house is mostly made of wood, to ensure your safety, no candles, stove or other equipment using fire can be used inside or on the terrace, - To respect the premises, we ask that you do not go upstairs with your shoes, - You will be welcomed into our home, so we ask you to respect the premises, the furniture, the belongings, the children's toys, etc. - Please let us know if, unfortunately, something were to break.
