Engineers Lodge - Inneston

Dhil­ba Guu­ran­da-Innes Nation­al Park is a favourite for camp­ing, fish­ing and surf­ing. Bush­walk­ing is a great way to dis­cov­er the park, with trails rang­ing from 30-minute strolls to four-hour treks. You¿ll spot an abun­dance of birds and ani­mals while you catch some of the best coastal views in South Aus­tralia. All of the park is acces­si­ble by 2WD, so it¿s per­fect for day vis­its and a par­adise for beach lovers. There is some­thing for every­one at Innes. Vis­it one of the light­hous­es and the ship­wreck of the Ethel to learn about the tumul­tuous mar­itime his­to­ry of South Aus­tralia. Explore his­toric Inneston, an aban­doned town­ship sur­round­ed by bush­land. Take a stroll from your camp­site down to the beach for a spot of fish­ing, or base your­self in one of the restored her­itage cot­tages dot­ted through­out his­toric Inneston. The Engineers Lodge is located at Inneston within the heart of Innes National Park. It sleeps up to ten people in three bedrooms (two doubles and three sets of bunks), making it perfect for a larger group or two families. The large verandah commands stunning views across Inneston Lake and the rest of the historic township and ruins. The lodge is self-contained and facilities include a shower and toilet, solar lighting and gas appliances. Bring your own linen and bedding. Minimum two night stay. The space Room configuration is Bedroom 1 - one queen bed. Bedroom 2 - two sets of bunks. Bedroom 3 - one set of bunks and one queen bed. Facilities include shower, toilet, electric stove & fridge. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots & pans are supplied. Linen and bedding is not supplied you must bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets and towels. Gas heating / no cooling.
