Cosy grade II listed house in beautiful Norfolk
Description
Explore beautiful North Norfolk, enjoy the walking and cycling routes in this rural area and spend your days visiting the many nearby beaches. Chesterfield House is full of character and is perfect for dog owners, families and friends who want to enjoy everything on offer in the area. The space This was a perfect place for our family to stay to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. It is a lovely house in an idyllic, quintessentially English, peaceful village location. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, table big enough for us to all sit round and lots to do nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed it and Hattie was a great host. – C.H, May 2022 Wonderful stay, home away from home, comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Hattie was a great host letting us know we could check in a little earlier so we could make full use of our first day. Loved my stay in Norfolk. J.B – July 2022 We had a lovely stay in Aldborough and cannot recommend the cottage highly enough. A real home from home, and everything so tastefully and thoughtfully restored and equipped to a high standard. It really is the quintessential English village and we enjoyed watching the world go by whilst enjoying our meals in the front garden. With staircases at each end of the house, our children had great fun discovering the nooks and crannies, as well as buying daily provisions from the village shop. All in all a 'get away from it all' experience. – D.S – July 2022 We had a really wonderful stay at Chesterfield House over Christmas this year. From the moment I fixed the booking our host, Hattie was easy to communicate with, was marvellously kind, helpful and relaxed and did everything she could to ensure that our family Christmas break went well. There was even a Christmas tree with lights to greet us! The house is full of charm and tastefully but sensibly furnished - very easy for a family of mixed ages to live comfortably and relax in. It was fun to have the log-burners to add a cosy glow though the central heating did a good job of keeping us warm anyway. The kitchen was very well-equipped and gave ample space to prepare several feasts. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and clean. The outlook over the village green is charming and it was useful to have the village shop and a children’s playground within very easy reach across the green. It was delightful to go shopping in North Walsham and Aylsham, both very pleasant towns. We found several cosy pubs nearby and had lovely beach walks at Cley and Holkham, not far away. Thank you, Hattie, for being such an excellent and welcoming host. I hope it’s not too long before there’s another chance to stay in your lovely house again. N.G, Christmas 2022
