Escape the city and head to the mountains! This cozy modern unit is just what you are looking for when planning your next getaway. Glacier is just 30 minutes from Mt. Baker ski area. The Tuckaway offers all the comforts of home without the day-to-day stresses. The owners do live upstairs, however you have your own PRIVATE entrance, interior door, parking, patio, yard, and hot tub. The owners will never come into your space. It is truly “tucked away”. You are sure to have a great experience. The space The unit is on the 1st floor of the house. The interior door provides complete privacy from the rest of the house. You are provided with private parking and a private entrance to the unit. The bedroom is set up with a Queen Bed and an XL Twin Trundle. The bedroom window has a black out shade, and there is extra bedding and pillows in the closet. The entire rental has concrete radiant heat flooring, and there is also a mini split in the living area that provides additional heating and air conditioning. There is an electric fireplace with drying racks, for wet gear. Highspeed internet allows you to use your cell phones, computers, and other devices with ease. You can enjoy your favorite shows on the smart tv or go "old school" and watch a movie from an assortment of dvd's. There are several games provided as well. The kitchen should have everything you need for your stay. There is a gear locker outside for storing skis/snowboards and other larger gear. We ask that you do not bring these items in the house. There is a nice private sitting area, outdoor dining, and grill next to the hot tub. The hot tub is a perfect place to relax after an epic day at Mt. Baker! Guest access Guests have full access to the one bedroom one bathroom unit. Private downstairs parking along with the backyard and patio with hot tub. Other things to note There is tons of private parking down below by The Tuckaway entrance. If the weather is bad and you are not comfortable parking down below, there is plenty of parking up top as well, but please be aware, you will have to use steps to get down to the rental. The rental itself is one story with no steps.
