Upgrades galore including custom kitchen cabinets, soft close kitchen drawers, newer appliances including dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator. Heated bathroom floor, newer flooring and more. Convenient to the Tail of the Dragon, Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake and Dam, Tsali Recreation area Nantahala Outdoor Center. The space Each bedroom has a queen size bed plus the living room has a new couch with a queen bed. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker as well as a Cuisinart coffee pot, newer dishwasher, refrigerator, range and a stack w/d. Relax on the open porch with rocking chairs and a picnic table for outdoor dining. Wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit for making smores and a charcoal grill for your use. Charcoal for first grilling and plenty of firewood are provided. Tiled heated bathroom floor with shower/tub combo. STARLINK for easy internet connection. ****DRIVEWAY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A TRAILER**** Pets are allowed and welcomed but must be at least a year old and housebroken as we have all newer flooring throughout. A dog bed is available for your pup. No cats are permitted. TV with Roku, Netflix and Amazon Prime plus a wide assortment of DVDs are available.A variety of games available and books for non TV watchers. Wi-fi (STARLINK) is available at the cabin. Please note cell phone service is very limited throughout the county but is available at the cabin and at the intersection of 143 and 28 in the parking lot about 5 minutes away. Cable Cove is 14 minutes away for swimming, fishing and boating at Lake Fontana. Fontana Dam and visitor center and The Nantahala Outdoor Center (white water rafting) and Bryson City are approximately 20-25 minutes away. ***IF THE CABIN IS AVAILABLE FOR EARLIER CHECK IN, I WILL NOTIFY TEXT YOU NO LATER THAN THE DAY BEFORE. ****ATTENTION-motorcycle riders and low riding car owners.Due to the gravel road and driveway, we do not recommend motorcycle riders or guests with low riding cars book the cabin. If you are hiking the AT and need a ride to the cabin, let us know. If we are available, we will pick you up and take you to the cabin. Also take you back to the AT when you vacate. Guest access Entire cabin. Other things to note Groceries, beer and wine can be purchased at Ingles grocery store in Robbinsville, Murphy or Bryson City. Alcohol is available in Bryson City or Murphy. A max of 2 dogs under 70 lbs. each, at least 1 year old and house broken. The road to the cabin is single lane and gravel. The driveway is also gravel and uphill but AWD or 4 wheel drive are NOT necessary. There are two parking spaces available. We do not recommend motorcycle riders or low riding car owners book the cabin because of the gravel road and driveway and please note**** THE CABIN 'S DRIVEWAY WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE A TRAILER. If you need an earlier check in or later check out, we will try to make it happen. I live locally if you encounter any problems.
