Welcome to Karibu Cottage! Relax with the family at our clean and peaceful two bedroom four season cottage. A 1000 sq ft bungalo with wi-fi, air conditioning, a deck, 6 person hot tub and a screened-in gazebo. Our cottage is located on a quiet street that is a short walk to Lake Winnipeg. The closest pier is only an 8 minutes walk away. It is a 5 minute drive to Winnipeg Beach & Matlock Beach and a 20 minute drive to Gimli. Great location for ice fishing, hunting and snow mobiles. The space Open-concept kitchen and living room with an expandable dining table that seats 6. The kitchen island also has seating for 2. There is vinyl flooring throughout the cottage. The living room has a comfy reclining couch and chair. The wood burning stove is a great feature during the colder months. Wi-fi is included! An Amazon Fire TV Stick will be provided to watch streaming services on the TV (using your own streaming subscriptions). Full equipped kitchen includes a stove, microwave, full fridge and dishwasher. Pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils are provided. Newly renovated bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed, a dresser and a ceiling fan. Bedroom #2 has a double over double bunk bed, a large closet and a portable tower fan. All bed linens and bathroom towels provided. Guests should bring their own beach towels. Ensuite washing machine and dryer, as well as a drying rack. Outdoor space has a large patio with BBQ grill (propane tank is provided), a screened-in gazebo and a fire pit (guests bring their own wood). Guest access Driveway has space for two vehicles. All buildings at the back of the yard are off limits, including the wood shed. Guests must bring their own wood for the firepit. Other things to note This is a four season cottage that can be used all year round. It has easy lake access for ice fishing in the winter. Cottage water is well water, which has been recently tested and is safe. However, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water.
