Seikou Udoku Tomida - Satoyama Old Private Villa

This is a traditional Japanese house with a large entrance and white "Noren" curtains. You can rent the entire house out, and it's for up to four people per day. (There are two bedrooms.) There is a private outdoor sauna in the garden. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available, so you can use it for work space, etc. There is also a library of 5,000 books, and hammocks and personal chairs are also available. You can relax and enjoy reading your favorite books. The space There are two guest rooms. Each room has two single beds. Each room has a private toilet. Works by artists living in the neighborhood are displayed on the walls. The kitchen is spacious and is equipped with dishes and cooking utensils for self-catering, which you can use freely. Free drinks are also provided, including Shirakawa tea (green tea, roasted green tea, Japanese black tea), barista coffee, mineral water, and more. The bath is a domestic bath. Meals are not provided. Please bring your own food or use nearby restaurants. Guest access The outdoor barrel sauna in the garden is a private sauna that is only available to guests staying at the hotel. You can also enjoy self-loyly. Sauna ponchos, sauna hats, bath towels, face towels, and sandals are available for free rental. There is also a barbecue space in the garden. It is unroofed so cannot be used on rainy days. Nets, tongs, and four camping chairs are provided. Please bring your own charcoal. Other things to note Our lodging is located in Shirakawa-cho, Gifu Prefecture, which is not the same location as Shirakawa-mura, where the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go is located. It takes about two and a half hours by car to get to Shirakawa-go. It is also an hour's drive to Tsumago and Magome-juku, a 50-minute drive to Gero City, famous for its hot springs, and a 40-minute drive to Ena IC. On the way to the lodging, the road may be narrow or you may have to go through mountain paths. In winter, there is a risk of frozen roads, so please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive.
