The space This unique space with large bay windows, wide-plank floors, distressed counters and a barn door was originally a reading room back in 1895. The house itself has had many occupants and business over the years. Housing for cobblers, seamstresses, naval officers, and many others and businesses from retail, antiques, real-estate to its last occupant a lawyer’s office. From the Bay window you will see the Historic St Mary's Church as well as a glimpse of Newport harbor, restaurants and even the Wave statue. It’s been remodeled with new amenities & bedding for an awesome guest experience in the City by the Sea Newport! Keep in mind this is a city central location and you will hear the sounds of this vibrant city. Guest access This property has 2 other separate units all with free parking for our guest. Your suite has a separate private 1st floor location with a small entry deck area to enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.
