Description
Little Avenis is a 250 year old Cotswold stone house brimming with character and charm and offering a quintessential experience of Cotswold country life. It has a mature south-facing garden and far-reaching views across beautiful, open country. Located between two villages, it enjoys an unusually peaceful setting. From the doorstep you have immediate access to a large network of footpaths with exceptionally lovely walks to local nature reserves, ancient beech woodlands and country pubs. The space The house caters for up to eight people. It has 4 bedrooms, consisting of two doubles (one of which has a third single bed) and two twins (one with two single beds, and one with a bunk bed). There are two bathrooms, one on the first floor with a power shower and one on the second, with a traditional bath. Downstairs there is a kitchen/dining room, a sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a boot room, an entrance toilet and a children's playroom with beanbags. There is a self contained annex above the garage, which has a separate entrance, and is not let as part of the house. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the house and garden during their stay. Other things to note This house is comfortable and well-maintained and guests will enjoy high-quality furniture, furnishings and bed linen. The owners know the area very well and can recommend the best places for a pub lunch, a picnic, a cycle ride, horse riding, swimming, or enjoying a round of golf. The set up of the house with two main bedrooms and two smaller twin rooms makes it ideal for two families with children, or for multi-generational groups or groups of friends. There is a small pond in the garden so small children should be watched.
