Cosy Scandinavian Studio

Our cosy studio is located in Sörnäinen. You will like the Scandinavian-style wooden floors and furniture, as well as the trendy location with easy access to some great places in Helsinki. It’s the little touches that count - cleanliness, a good selection of tea and coffee, some Finnish chocolate, and insider tips! The flat is on the 4th floor of a 19th century building and has bright windows to the inner yard, which makes it quiet and relaxing. Its a small but cosy home away from home. The space Our place is a studio with ca. 25m2. You enter through the hallway, where you can keep your shoes and jackets, and use the inbuilt closet for your clothing. The main room has a comfortable double bed with fresh and clean linen. There is also a dining table and a small desk with TV and sound system. We have a tiny kitchenette on the other side of the room, where you'll find everything needed for cooking basic meals (pots, pan, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc.). A selection of coffee, tea and sugar are provided. Our bathroom is also tiny. It has a toilet and shower. We provide towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for our guests. Guest access The whole studio is for your use. You also have access to the washing room downstairs in the basement of the house, where you can do your laundry for a fee. Other things to note Sörnäinen has trendy restaurants and bars: Tuk Tuk (Thai restaurant), Fafa's (Falafel restaurant) or Harju8 (restaurant and bar) are super popular with locals and right outside the door. There's also the lovely movie theater Riviera down the street, and a special highlight - Helsinki's oldest public sauna! Public transport is just 3 minutes walking distance away: metro (underground) station, taxi station, tram station and bus station. You can go anywhere from here! For example, you'll be in the city center in about 10 minutes by metro, tram or bus. It's not even far to walk - so maybe you'll take a stroll! There is also a straight bus line (bus no. 600) going to the airport, in 43 minutes. If you come by car: parking is available as on-street-parking right next to the house. Your host can give you a tip where to find free parking.
