Old Nettelbeck Distillery - Loft Apartment

Living and vacationing under the stork's nest in old, listed walls (built 1850) in the so-called machine house of the old schnapps distillery. Exhibitions and concerts are regularly held in the vaulted rooms. In courses, blacksmithing can be learned here in the workshop. We have been renting the first apartment for 4 years - with the second we have a total of 10 beds, e.g. for family meetings or courses - or you can enjoy the place with plenty of space alone or as a couple. The space We have also individually, artfully and with ecological building materials expanded our second, lovingly renovated apartment in the former machine house of the old schnapps distillery. Many forged elements were created in the distillery's forging workshop and might make you want to take a blacksmithing course on site? Feel free to ask if this is possible for your desired stay. The 160 bed in the bright bedroom with illuminated wooden built-in wardrobe (including Harry Potter chamber ;) can accommodate 2 guests seeking relaxation. Perhaps the most beautiful room in the distillery is located at the top of the 'loft apartment,' openly connected with a staircase from the hallway. This room with its large, round hemp carpet can be used for seminars, yoga and much more. Two corner sofas offer two 140 sleeping areas for another 4 guests, if desired (together with the lower apartment, it would be a total of 10 sleeping places) The bathroom is very spacious and bright with 2 windows. In the large kitchen, 10 people could be seated at the table - enough dishes would also be provided. With the morning sun you can have breakfast at the open, French window. Down in the courtyard there will be a private seat surrounded by a planted stone wall starting in the spring. A barbecue area is planned for spring 2023 :) By arrangement, you can also use our campfire place, for a fee of €5 including dry campfire wood. Guest access You have your own apartment with access via an old staircase with vaulting. You can park for free on the premises. Please drive directly behind the old clothes container onto the property and park on the right side. You can lock your own bicycles in a room of the distillery. For €5 a day, you can now rent 6 bikes (see photos) on site. Interesting for children - very close is the village playground ;) Other things to note We live here with animals in the immediate vicinity. So a sheep bleats, the rooster crows or the owl calls. Our Wi-Fi is distributed throughout the building by DLAN and repeater technology. If there are any disruptions, please let me know. Also let me know if you are working with Wi-Fi, e.g. for video calling. The time-honored walls do not let the signal through equally well everywhere, so the reception is not equally strong everywhere. If you stay longer than 7 days, you can use our 8 kg washing machine or dryer for a fee of €5 each.
