Welcome to your own cozy Tiny House nestled on the east side of Bloomington. You are comfortably separate from the hustle bustle of the college town, but also conveniently central to many attractions in and around the city. Come to relax! Please make yourself at home! Other things to note GETTING THERE It is about 45 mins from Indianapolis international airport southwest down highway 37 or 69. PARKING There is a designated parking spot beside the barn on the right hand side. If additional parking is needed, feel free to let us know! ENTRY Your code will be provided after booking. Codes are changed after every guest. We will also provide a key for quick entry/exit. BEDS The mattress is a full sized memory foam mattress. Additional bed or air mattresses available upon request at an additional cost. KITCHEN - Fully stocked with brand new stainless steel appliances (convection oven, retro refrigerator, & microwave) - K-cup coffee machine - Water kettle and basic cooking utensils - Dishes & silverware (paper products) AMENITIES We provide basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, towels, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, cooking oil, and salt & pepper. THINK OF THESE AS "STARTER KITS" - Highly recommend you bring extra items or personal preferences if you would like. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The area is on the East side of Bloomington near a main road with a few neighbors. Because this house is near a main road, we offer earplugs upon request to those like us, who are sensitive to noise while sleeping. The Tiny House is also located next to our house, as well as a geodesic dome tent. We try to respect your privacy and ambience as much as possible so we hope our guests can do the same. HEATING & COOLING We have an efficient and quiet window air conditioning system and a few electric space heaters. INTERNET Suitable for streaming videos, remote work, surfing the web, and answering emails. OUTDOOR SPACE We have patio furniture, and string lights for your enjoyment! We do share this home with other bugs and mosquitoes. We treat our property as much as we can with pet-safe products, but we do live in a heavily wooded area so there might be bugs. We provide a citronella candle to mitigate this but highly recommend bug spray! We also have a "bug vacuum" in the house next to the bed so that you don't have to touch bugs with your hands (we hate that too). You can also use that for small spills or touchups. THINGS TO DO Indiana University is the primary attraction in the area. However, we are also centrally located to Brown County State Park, the quaint town of Nashville and Lake Monroe. There are many local restaurants nearby, as well as parks and trails! SECURITY In an effort to keep the entire property more secure, we have installed security cameras on the EXTERIOR ONLY of the house.
