Modern cabin with boat ocean view & beautiful sunsets

The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet. The space The cabin was built in 2022, built in Norway with Norwegian materials by the local supplier Jølster Bygg, who has over 40 years of experience and solid knowledge of the region and the western climate. We as a family have been closely involved in the entire process – from drawing and design to the choice of colors and furnishings. The carpenter who built the cabin is from Atløy. Right outside the front door you will find a large stone table with benches, taken from the quarry on the other side of the island. Here the extended family and friends can gather and enjoy the view. Guest access Here you get access to a modern smart house with fantastic panoramic views from both the living room and the large terrace, which is furnished and has its own private jacuzzi (for rent). The open, fully equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy the view while cooking, and just behind the house you will find a practical outdoor kitchen – perfect for cleaning fish, cooking crabs or grilling sausages on the fire pan. The cabin has 4 bedrooms with comfortable Queen size Swan beds, made with soft bed linen. In addition, there is a travel bed for children and 2 inflatable beds if needed. There is plenty of entertainment: 2 TV rooms with surround sound, PlayStation, synthesizer and a separate playroom for the kids. The cabin also has 2 complete bathrooms with washing machine, dryer, soap, toilet paper and white towels. In front of the cabin awaits a cozy beach and great fishing opportunities – both from land and from the cabin's motorboat (for rent). Behind the cabin is an idyllic water with trout, perfect for swimming, fishing or picking berries. Fishing license is not required and rowing boat for 4 adults is included. Øyen offers many marked trails overlooking forests, mountains and the sea. Cleaning is included in the price, and there is free parking with room for several cars. The cabin has fast WiFi that makes it easy to combine vacation with home office. The ferry from Askvoll to Atløy is free and takes only 10 minutes. Additional services we can offer: - Flower delivery - Car rental in Askvoll - Taxi boat Other things to note The motorboat belonging to the cabin is Norwegian produced by the brand Øien 620 F - 2023 model, is 20 feet, has Yamaha 60 HP and with 8 seats. Garmin map machine with 9-inch screen sonar, fishing rod holders and two tanks of 25 liters each are installed. Due to the engine size, the requirement according to the legislation is that the driver must be born before 1980 or have a boat license from Norway or from another EEA country. Boat license that meets the requirements of the Norwegian and is in English is also valid. The motorboat can be rented. Helly Hansen life jackets are included with both boats and are stored in the storage room of the cabin. Hot tub/Jacuzzi can be enjoyed at an extra cost. There is a passenger boat/speedboat that goes from Bergen to Askvoll 2 times a day. The trip only takes 2 hours. From the gas station on Askvoll, which is only a few meters from the harbor, you can rent a car. A little about the well-known viewpoint - Brurastakken Brurastakken is known as an El Dorado for geologists: "Few places have a richer and more diverse geological history than the Askvoll area. The geological history spans a long geological time, around 2 billion years! On Brurastakken you will find traces of three mountain ranges, a result of continental plates colliding." Brurastakken resembles a bridal skirt seen from the sea. Alden Alden, also called the Norwegian Horse, is a popular hiking island. "The mountain rises straight up from the sea, 481 meters above sea level. This is one of the most significant sailing landmarks on the west coast of Norway, and it is visible more than 100 km away." You can reach Alden with the cabin's motorboat (rental) or with a taxi boat that we can help you arrange. Værlandet and Bulandet, which are Norway's westernmost fishing communities, can also be reached by motorboat or alternatively by ferry from Askvoll. Bulandet comprises 365 islands and has 240 inhabitants. Atle's island (Atløy) is named after the Viking Atle Jarl who according to history is buried somewhere on the island. There are many rock carvings on the rocks of Atløy. You can talk to those who live on the island to learn more about these and the relevant places you can find them.
