The Blue Macaw Hacienda is a tranquil villa with guest casita in the hills of Ojochal and the ideal place to unwind for 2-7 guests. Conveniently located just ten minutes from amazing beaches, well known restaurants, and exciting tours and activities. Easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle. Reliable WIFI and a beautiful, relaxing outside setting with pool and BBQ so you can fully enjoy the views of the mountains, valley and ocean. You can also see many varieties of wildlife passing through. With a main house that comfortably sleeps 5 and an available casita that sleeps 2, the gated, secure property is perfect for just 2 or a larger group up to 7. The spacious, open floor plan of the main house is perfect with its well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, well stocked pantry, living room with ample, comfortable seating, air conditioning, a smart TV, and high speed internet (80 mbps) with WIFI that you can count on and confidently work remotely. The master bedroom with king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom including a tropical bamboo outdoor shower. Another full bathroom with shower is down the hall. A laundry room with washer/dryer is on main floor. The upper loft has a double and single bed with half bath and an outdoor, large covered balcony with refrigerator and seating area offering an ocean view. Outside is a lovely dining area with a gas grill and dining table next to the swimming pool where you can enjoy mountain and valley views. The casita with its queen size bed , ensuite full bathroom, large outside sitting area and kitchen with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker is available and comfortable for extra guests. Guests will have exclusive use of the property with no shared access. The pool is cleaned twice a week and the garden is maintained twice a month. The house is fully cleaned before and after the use of each rental. The property has plenty of parking and is gated with an electronic code for access. The main house accommodates 5 persons (master, plus double and twin in the loft), and the use of the casita is an additional charge of $50 plus applicable taxes. Calle Estrella is a quiet, residencial street located within 5 minutes of the main entrance of the village. It is a beautiful, circular street with plenty of shade that makes for a nice, peaceful walk in the morning or afternoon hours. The street is easily accesible with a 2WD vehicle, but we recommend a 4WD vehicle to explore other areas. There is plenty of parking for 3 or 4 cars on the property. Garbage is to be set out Friday afternoons on the road for pick up early Saturday mornings. Please do not put toilet paper or other sanitary products in the toilets. Garbage bins are provided in each bathroom for this purpose. No glass allowed in or around the pool.
