Two clubhouses feature a lazy river, fitness centers, and tiki bars that serve food and drinks. There are also waterslides, a splash pad, mini-golf, playgrounds, and resort-style pools. A free golf cart shuttle service transports guests to the different clubhouses and their vacation rentals. Here is a more detailed list of the resort amenities: Two clubhouses: Each clubhouse has a lazy river, a fitness center, and a tiki bar. The tiki bars serve food and drinks, so you can relax and enjoy a cold beverage while you watch the kids play in the lazy river. Waterslides: There are two waterslides at Storey Lake Resort, one for adults and one for kids. The adult waterslide is a dual slide that is sure to get your heart racing. The kid’s waterslide is a gentle slide that is perfect for younger children. Splash pad: The splash pad is a great place for kids to cool off on a hot day. There are a variety of water features to play in, including fountains, spray jets, and a dumping bucket. Mini-golf: The mini-golf course is a fun activity for the whole family. There are 18 holes of challenging but fun mini-golf. Playgrounds: There are two playgrounds at Storey Lake Resort, one for younger children and one for older children. The playgrounds have a variety of equipment to climb on and play with. Resort-style pools: There are three resort-style pools at Storey Lake Resort, one for adults, one for families, and one for the kids. The pools are all heated, so you can enjoy them year-round. Golf cart shuttle service: A free golf cart shuttle service transports guests to the different clubhouses and their vacation rentals. This is a great way to get around the resort without having to walk or drive. Storey Lake Resort is the perfect place to relax and have fun with your family. With its variety of amenities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. mini-golf is $5/kids and $7/adults. Kayak rental cost? $15/30 mins or $20/hour. INCLUDED: Every Bathroom: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 small bar of soap. Kitchen - entire cookware, silverware, glassware, 1 paper towel, and trash bags in the bin. NOT INCLUDED: dish soap, dishwasher Pods, and Laundry detergent RECOMMENDED: For large groups, it’s recommended to buy additional toilet paper. If you plan on doing laundry or dishes then pods and detergent should be purchased as well. WASHCLOTHS: We do not provide washcloths because of sanitary reasons. If you use washcloths we kindly ask you to bring your own. ***Baby Equipment Rentals Please contact them for any baby equipment you may require.*** Orlando Baby Rental (We can provide the phone number upon request) ***Shuttle Service*** The resort does offer a free golf cart shuttle service that will take you to the different amenity centers and back to your rental.*** BBQ GRILL: If the owner has provided a complimentary barbecue grill free of charge, or a barbecue grill has been hired via any party, be aware that it is being used at the guest's own risk. Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused by the use or misuse of the grill. Only use the grill in open, outdoor areas. The grill must not be used in any enclosed areas. I the Owner do not accept liability for equipment failure. It is the guest's responsibility to clean and maintain the grill and replenish propane as required (We do not provide propane). There will be a minimum cleaning charge of $50 if the grill needs professional cleaning to enable use by the next guest. CHECK-IN IS AFTER 4 PM: Normal check-in is after 4 pm. Early check-in may be available if there is no one checking out on the same day of your arrival. If you have not confirmed early check-in then your arrival is 4 pm or later. Please do not arrive earlier than 4 pm at the house as we are preparing for you and your guests and want to ensure it’s in perfect condition. POOL/SPA HEATING: There is a fee of $30/ day for this service Note: The hot tub/spa will not be heated without the pool heating. If you would like this service, please ask us two days before your arrival date. The pool heat only runs from the hours of 8am-8pm. (Also the pool temp Is set to 76-87 degrees and when the weather is cold this will affect the pool heat) We also ask that pool heat is requested a few days before arrival as the pool does take some time to heat up. If the pool heat is requested when you are already in the home please know that it will take some time for the pool to get warm. (So there will be no refunds) A “heat-only” swimming pool heat pump—designed to only heat the water and not cool it—can work effectively down to the mid to lower 40s. However, the ambient temperature greatly affects the ability of air-source heat pumps to produce heat. The colder the air, the less heat the heat pump will be able to produce. * For the spa to be heated the pool heat must be on. A spillover spa or hot tub is not able to be heated on its own. The spillover spas are attached to the pool, using the same water. There is no option to only heat the spa since it is the same water as the pool. When pool heating is chosen in this set-up, the pool and spa will be heated to a temperature of around 80-84 degrees Fahrenheit. When in the spa mode, the system will automatically adjust the valves so that the water from the spa is returned to the spa. This bypasses the pool, and the spa will be heated up to between 94 and 102 degrees Fahrenheit. If left in Spa mode the pool will not be getting any heated water and so the pool will cool down. * Pool/spa heaters operate on a timer and are set to come on in the morning and go off in the evening. There will be some cooling off overnight when the air temperature drops. In the coldest winter months heating the pool can be difficult, with the water temperature dropping down overnight. Florida has a temperate climate but cold fronts can bring overnight low temperatures in the 30's and 40's that can last for several days. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, there is no way the pool/spa heater will be able to keep the water at a temperature in the mid-to high-80s, especially where pool/spa heat is provided via an electric heat pump if the outside air temperature drops below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Electric heating pumps do not operate effectively below this temperature, and failure of such devices to heat the pool/spa to the desired temperature is outside of the company's control and is regarded as an act of nature. Please note that cold weather does NOT constitute a mechanical failure and no refunds will be given for problems that are due to cold weather. I can not accept any responsibility for the guests' personal safety during their vacation. Guests are reminded to exercise care as to the personal safety of themselves and their companions. Use of the pool and any community pool, tennis court, and recreation area is entirely at the guests' own risk. It is particularly important that children are supervised at all times in and around the pool areas. Pools are used at the guests' own risk. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied at the pools. For the safety of children, doors that have direct access to the pool may be alarmed. Tampering or disconnection of these devices is a criminal offense. According to Chapter 515.33 of the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act: Anyone tampering with or disconnecting pool alarms commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable by a $5,000 fine or one (1) year in jail. Please do not tamper with the pool alarms. A minimum charge of $250.00 per alarm will apply for its repair/replacement if tampered with. Alternatively, the property may have a removable pool safety fence located around the pool area. If this pool safety fence is removed during the stay at the home, the guest will assume full responsibility for any and all use of the pool and spa. (note the pool is serviced on a weekly basis. This means the service day might land on a day that you are in the home should this happen you will not be able to use the pool for about 30mins-1hr) The safety fence (if installed) must be used at all times. Guest agrees that an adult will be responsible for closing pool fences after entering the pool area, do not leave children alone. Spillover spa rules - maximum use 15 minutes. Pregnant women, small children, people with health problems, and people using alcohol, narcotics, or other drugs that cause drowsiness should not use the spa without first consulting a doctor. Games, toys, and baby furniture/equipment are used at the guest's own risk. Young children must be supervised at all times. It is the guest's responsibility to supervise children at all times. Children under a certain age should not be allowed to use features intended for adults such as gyms, saunas, etc., where they could potentially injure themselves. Children should not be allowed to use items intended for adults, such as billiard tables or other items where they could potentially cause damage. ****Very important. The pool equipment is inspected between every guest to make sure the pool runs optimally, so you and your guests can enjoy a clean and clear pool. Please do not touch the equipment or it can result in a loss of security deposit if anything is found broken. Thank you**** **Internet/Cable TV** This service is provided free of charge to all owners by the resort. Because of this we have no control over the service and should it go out during your stay we will not be held responsible for this. We will try our best to help with the situation should it present its self during your stay. (There will be no compensation for this as this is out of our control) Air Conditioner*** The air conditioning in any rental property should not be set below 74 Degrees Fahrenheit (23 Degrees Celsius) by the guests. Setting the thermostat to a lower temperature will not cool the property quicker. Due to the high temperatures in Florida, it can be difficult for the system to cool the internal temperature below this point. Setting the temperature below 74 Degrees Fahrenheit may result in the system freezing up. If this occurs the air conditioning will have to be turned off to allow the unit to defrost. The guest will have no air conditioning during this time and will be responsible for the technician's call-out charges. If the windows have condensation that is a definite sign the air conditioning temperature is set too low and there is a risk of freezing the air conditioning unit. Please keep all windows and doors closed. Pets:*** Absolutely no pets are allowed. Failure to comply with this will result in the removal of the guest from the property, without recompense or refund, and the loss of the security deposit or a charge to the guest's credit card if no security deposit is in place to cover the deep clean costs. The minimum fine for having pets is $500. (No emotional/Service pets) Smoking: All properties are strictly non-smoking. Failure to comply with this will result in the removal of the guest from the property, without recompense or refund, and the loss of the security deposit or a charge to the guest's credit card if no security deposit is in place to cover the deep clean costs. The minimum fine for smoking is $500. Smoking is permitted outside of the property while all doors and windows are closed. Personal Items Left Behind: In the event a guest may have left a personal item behind in the rental property. I will do my best to locate it; however, the owner and the management company are not responsible for any losses. If the item is found, the guest will be advised and given the contact details of a local company that specializes in collecting and mailing package deliveries. The guest will be responsible for arranging collection, shipment, delivery, and any other costs incurred. Any unclaimed items may be donated to charity or disposed of after 30 days. Our Home management company: We have an excellent team that’s readily available to help assist with any issues or questions.
