Nestled at the edge of the stunning Roaches in the Peak District, our cosy off-grid glampsite offers spacious bell tents that are beautifully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Each tent includes a super-comfortable solid wood double bed, up to four single beds, with thoughtful extras like hot water bottles, books, and games for the kids. There is also the option of freshly made up beds and towels can be included for a small extra fee of just £5 per guest. You’ll also have your own private composting toilet, hot shower, and well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a double gas hob, sink, and cooking utensils. For those who enjoy dining outdoors, there’s an outdoor picnic table, BBQ, and fire pit, and we offer a ready-made fire and BBQ pack for a small additional fee. We’ve created Roaches Retreat Eco Glampsite with families in mind — because when the kids are happy, everyone gets to unwind and enjoy quality time together. Kids can run wild, chase butterflies, and make memories, while parents can truly relax, knowing everything has been thought of. It’s a peaceful, low-impact, off-grid experience that lets you disconnect from the chaos of life and reconnect with each other. Guest access For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, including children, vehicles are not allowed on the main site. The car park is just a short walk away, and a wheelbarrow is provided for easy transportation of your luggage. Please note, the ground is grassy and uneven in places, so it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs. Other things to note Pre-arrival Information: Please ensure you read all instructions in the pre-arrival information prior to your arrival. Children's Play and Safety: Roaches Retreat Eco Glampsite offers many natural opportunities for outdoor play. While children are welcome to enjoy free play on the site, parents must take full responsibility for their supervision and well-being at all times. We are not liable for any incidents, and by allowing your children to play on site, the booker accepts responsibility for their safety. Adult Group Policy: We do not accept groups of adults in our tents. Our policy is a maximum of 2 adults per tent, with the only exception being older teenage children traveling with their parents. Groups of adults will not be allowed on site. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Behaviour and Noise: Excessive noise and disruptive behaviour, including excessive drinking of alcohol, will not be tolerated. Repeated offences may result in removal from the site. Children's Supervision: Children must be supervised at all times. Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children respect the site and all areas/equipment. Respect for Others: Please respect the privacy and space of guests staying in other tents. Children should not infringe on other guests' privacy and peace unless prior agreement has been made. Visitors: Due to limited parking and private facilities, we do not permit visitors without a reservation on site. Exclusive Bookings: If you are interested in booking all three tents together for exclusive use of the glampsite, please contact us directly. The maximum number of adults is 2 per tent, with up to 4 children allowed per tent. Site Boundaries: Please stay within the site grounds and at no time venture onto neighbouring private land.
