Cozy 350 sq ft 1 bedroom guest house nestled in the woods. Just 10 minutes from downtown Belmont, you’re an easy drive to lively restaurants and parks. The guest house is situated on a large, quiet and safe lot and has a full kitchen for cooking meals in if you wish. Enjoy your coffee on the wooded deck or front patio and watch for the family of deer or variety of birds that share the property. The space This single-level guest house is most suited for 1 or 2 guests. It has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, and while there is a small (one person) sleeper sofa in the sitting room, it is crowded when pulled out and the bathroom access is through the bedroom. A fully furnished kitchen allows for enjoying home cooked meals. The kitchen has an apartment size refrigerator, full size oven, microwave, and automatic coffee maker. The bathroom has a full size shower and washer/dryer. There is a mini-split in both the bedroom and living room to keep the temperature comfortable throughout the guest house. The living room has a smart TV with Netflix and basic TV channels. Perfect for visiting nearby family, stop over during travels, work trip or a date night. Located 1.5 miles from Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 2.5 miles from the Mclean Marina and Drift restaurant, 10 min to downtown Belmont restaurants, and 20 min to Charlotte airport. No pets. Guest access Guests check in upon arrival with a keypad. The code will be provided 24 hours prior to the start of your stay. Parking for two cars is directly in front of the apartment. Other things to note Our goal is to provide an affordable, comfortable respite for weary travelers, visitors, work trips or those just looking for a brief escape. We warmly welcome all. We strive to make sure our guests have everything needed for a comfortable stay. Coffee, tea and snacks provided. Extra blankets and pillows stored in closet. All high touch surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant and linens (including blankets, rugs and comforter) are laundered between guests. The apartment is attached to the owner's garage, which is used for storage of tools, but guests’ privacy and need for quiet will be respected during the length of the stay.
