Description
Enjoy a secluded nature experience in an off-grid cabin at the corner of a family-owned 100-acre property and on the edge of 20 acres of forest. End off your evening by watching the sunset over the hills, having some smores by the fire, and waking up to the sounds of birds (and likely cows). The cabin was built as a space to reconnect and create balance, whether you're taking a break from work in the city or spending quality time with the people (or dogs) you love. The space The cabin is above 9x11 feet, and there are a few steps that lead up to the front. There are no other cabins or rentals on-site, so you will have full seclusion at the back of the property. Since the cabin is on the edge of a 20 acre forest and is surrounded by other large lots, you may encounter deer, foxes, owls, rabbits, coyotes, etc. Please be mindful that this is a rustic camping experience. If you have a small dog, please be responsible and bring a tie out stake for when they are around the cabin if they don’t have good recall. I do not recommend going out late a night with a small dog given that there are coyotes. Guest access The whole space by the cabin is yours for the duration of your stay. You can walk through the field, go see the cows on the neighbor's property (stay on our property of course, and please be mindful of the gate since it might be powered), and walk through the back forest if you'd like. I only ask that you be mindful of the people who may be working as you enter and exit the property and that you abide by the "leave no trace" camping norms. Other things to note The cabin was built in 2021 and is completely off-grid. The camping toilet uses compressed pine as its binding agent, the battery is charged with the solar panels, and the water is all carried in. There is a hand-held camping shower, but it is more for rinsing off your feet and such than having a "normal" shower.
