The garden has two cozy picnic tables, a BBQ, an outdoor stove, a playground equipment with swing and slide and several cozy seating areas. The garden is fully enclosed... that's nice with little ones on vacation and offers a lot of privacy. We also have a cozy outdoor BBQ that also acts as an outdoor fireplace, cozy for the long drinks evenings outside :-) For the kids, there is more than enough entertainment, a playground with slide, a large trampoline and a duo go-kart and if that is not enough, the garden is big enough to play or play football. The wooded area also offers you the tranquility you are looking for. The house itself is cozy, with a vintage, furnished and equipped with every comfort (WiFi). A cozy dining area and cozy sitting area that offers plenty of space for all guests. High chairs (3p) are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with large retro Etna fridge with freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, milk frother, hand blender, gravy press and with all necessary crockery, pans and (children's)cutlery. The living room has a large TV (including Netflix /Viaplay) and, among other things, a chromecast. There are two leather sofas, a crockery/games closet. The living room offers access to the spacious backyard. The home has its own driveway where two cars can park. The house offers sleeping accommodation for up to 8 people. The house is particularly suitable for families or approx. 6 adults. Upstairs there are two triple bedrooms , each with a double bed (to be disconnected) and one single bed. Convenient for when parents want to sleep in the room with their child(ren). In addition to the three beds present, the rooms also offer enough space to, for example, an additional camp bed or travel cot. On the ground floor you will find the cozily furnished bedroom with bunk bed in the forest theme with the cozy forest wallpaper;-) The bunk bed is also thought of the smallest. There is an extra pullout rack available that you can place on the lower bed. All the beds are box springs and sleep wonderfully :-) The toilet and the bathroom with (rain) shower are located on the ground floor. The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other. The beds are made fresh for your visit. A towel set consisting of 1 large and 1 small towel can be ordered at an additional cost of €5 per person. In the holidays, the park offers many fun activities for children in the kids club (e.g. a children's disco, baking cookies, archery, clown show, scavenger hunts etc). And there are plenty of other activities. For example, take a look at the (indoor + outdoor) playground, the arcade hall, go swimming in the recreational lake, bowling, tennis or miniature golf. Looking for more excitement? Then go to the Viking Fundustry located directly by the park with, among other things, a climbing park and many other activities such as quad riding, laser tag and paintball. For the little ones, there are nice old Dutch games, a bare footpath, viking games and a large sandbar. Or go out and find the beautiful nature by bike or on foot. The beautiful city of Nijmegen is around the corner. Definitely worth visiting for a day. The house is otherwise completely kid-proof! For example, child safe sockets, stair gates, a changing pillow, children's cutlery and crockery, 1x high chair, 1x trip staircase and 1x toddler chair, 2x camping bed and a well-stocked games closet and toy chest. In the spacious garden, there is a large playground equipment and a go-kart. How nice...because that all saves a lot when packing :-) Take an extra good book to enjoy in the many cozy places that Huisje Groen and its surroundings have to offer.
