On the edge of the historic city center of Amersfoort is our spacious, more than 100-year-old mansion. The top floor has been completely renovated and equipped with every comfort to be rented as an apartment. Through a shared staircase you reach the apartment, which can be described as cozy, using beautiful materials, eye for detail and especially comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay for a short or longer time. The space The apartment is very suitable as a base for a tourist visit to the versatile city, but also a nice workplace if you are staying in Amersfoort professionally. From the living room, you can see De Lange Jan (Onze Lieve Vrouwentoren) and at the end of the street, you will find the "face" of Amersfoort, the Koppelpoort. The stairs are steep compared to current building standards. There is no elevator available. Other things to note Accessibility: - Public transportation: The train station is within walking distance (15 min.) - By bicycle: Possibility of storing and charging bicycles is possible. - Car: As of October 1, 2025, there will be paid parking in the city center of Amersfoort and the surrounding neighborhoods. Loading and unloading is possible in front of the door. The best option for parking is in the parking garages around the city center, which are open 24/7. Parking garage "Flintplein Walikerstraat 14" is within walking distance. Tourist tax: The municipality of Amersfoort has increased the tourist tax in the past year from €2.57 to €4.60 per person per night. For 2026, the tourist tax is set at €5.53 p.p.p.n.
