Fika Haus is your ideal place to relax, find yourself and connect with nature. "Fika" in the Swedish language means: A moment to slow down and appreciate the good things in life. And that is what we want, that it be the ideal place to appreciate the good moments of life with your partner in connection with the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Fika Haus is my own house and is located on the property of the Hotel Los Pinos Cabañas y Jardines that my family owns. The space Fika Haus is my own house and I rent it by Airbnb, it is located on the property of the Hotel Los Pinos Cabañas y Jardines that my family owns. It is a completely independent bungalow from the hotel. Fika Haus is a 1 bedroom bungalow, with 1 King size bed, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with hot water, and also a fireplace in the livingroom. On the terrace there are outdoor chairs to enjoy the surrounding forest and garden, an outdoor fireplace and a bar with benches if you want to eat, work or just enjoy a cup of coffee, beer or wine, and we just added a exterior jacuzzi. The bungalow measures 75m2, with 4 large windows and 1 sliding glass door so that natural light can enter gently, and in the same way you can see the surrounding forest and garden. The wood used in the construction is Cypress and Teak. Guest access Guests of Fika Haus can use the facilities offered by the Hotel Los Pinos Cabañas y Jardines, such as: trails and viewpoint with views of the Gulf of Nicoya. They can also buy ingredients to make a fresh salad from the Hydroponic Garden. Other things to note We are located 1.5 km from Santa Elena, downtown of Monteverde. (5 minutes by car or 10-15 minutes walking). Close to us, less than 300 meters (2 min walking) there is 1 Bakery that offers breakfast, 4 restaurants and 1 small Supermarket. The bungalow has 1 Smart TV with Netflix, Disney +, HBO Max and YouTube, there is no cable TV or satellite TV. Babies, children, pets, friends or visitors are not accepted and parties are prohibited.
