Perfect for couples, solo travellers, and remote workers looking for a calm stay in the Brighton area. The space The open-plan studio apartment features a comfortable double bed, relaxing living area, and a fully self-contained kitchenette with hob, fridge, kettle, and toaster — ideal for preparing simple meals during your stay. The studio also includes a modern private shower room. Located on the ground floor of our house, the studio is completely private with its own entrance, making it a great independent space for guests looking for a quiet stay in the Brighton area. Step outside to enjoy your private courtyard garden, surrounded by trees, climbing roses and honeysuckle in the spring and summer months. The outdoor seating area is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The studio is a quick car/bus ride (5mins) or a 20ish minute walk to nearby Hove beach, where you can enjoy a lovely walk on the promenade and drinks at either Rockwater or Babbel, both of which have sea views and beachside dining. The studio is well suited to longer stays and remote working, offering fast WiFi and a calm environment to relax or work from during the day. A green park sits directly opposite the property, giving you easy access to open space for walks, fresh air, and a break from the bustle of the city. Guests are welcome to smoke in the courtyard garden. Guest access Guests can access this whole space and have use of the courtyard garden which has outside seating available. Guests do not have access to the spiral staircase pictured in the garden photos. Other things to note The secret garden studio is located in Portslade with very easy access to the beach, to central Brighton, direct links to London, 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport and near to the South Downs National Park. Shops and local amenities are a 5 minute walk away Train Station - 8 min walk - direct trains to Brighton/London/Gatwick Bus - 1 min walk - Buses to central Brighton/Portslade old village Beach - 5 min car ride/10 min cycle/20 min walk South Downs - 5 min car ride/ 15 min bus ride/ 20 min cycle A small note about sound: This studio has been sound proofed as much as possible, and is on the ground floor of our house which is a terraced property. As with any terraced home you may at times hear us moving around upstairs or the adjacent neighbour.
